Haha, I think he said 20 weeks so we don't call again 😅 I've been told today 15 weeks and then he counted the weeks and said oh your 15 weeks today so hopefully next week you should have a decision. Told me to call again next week

That'll be it then, I know with ours they have to be considered to be 2 years behind if they don't have a diagnosis. It's so much harder if the school aren't pushing for it. Hope you get it all sorted soon and manage to enjoy the rest of your time away.

Thank you I really appreciate that, the school are incredibly supportive I’m not 100% sure what’s gone wrong, maybe they missed the deadline for evidence as they have done all (3) previous requests, I took over once one was declined and the LA failed to stick to the law. I just hope everyone looking for support gets the help they need for their children. I’m logging off mumsnet now until I’m home hopefully I’ll hear positive news when back. Keeping everything crossed for @Matilde08 and the MR xx

Nope 🙄 I called at 4 hoping for a decision before the weekend but it’s still with case manager wouldn’t tell me much else other than I should hear soon

Scan date for mine was the 6/3 guys and was a new claime, im so happy just feel a massive weight has been lifted

Asked UC to add the disabled child element this morning as we got awarded this morning
Their response was "it's not live" yet ??
Does this mean I just have to wait for DLA to inform them! Or something else? I reported the changed on my account

Thank you, hopefully if they are taking longer they are taking the time to read it properly for HRC 🤞 the other lady that was made priority first the same day as me was awarded Wednesday so I really thought I would hear something by today

Normally it takes them a few days to verify your Dla claim on uc but they must have tried straight away, I would wait till Monday and try and do it then

Wht did she get awarded? Ive heard a few people say if they take longer then they are going through it properly in consideration for hrc hrm etc ... Xx

People are receiving my texts but I’m not receiving any incoming texts 🤦‍♀️ I hope they’ve not texted after I called! The other lady was rewarded LRC and LRM and is now doing a MR for MRC, which she definitely deserves to get based on her child’s needs.

Was made priority Tuesday had a decline this dinner time due to lack of evidence I’ve spoke to them they’ve told me doctors letters hadn’t got to them in time I went they was signed for so they’ve told me to do MR when I get the letter and resend every bit of extra info I can so I will do that anyone know if it’s same timescale for MR as it is for new claim? I’m annoyed upset and disheartened I’ve had to pull him out of school and home school him meaning I’m now on limited hours at work

Ehcp plan doctors information referral letters and a school letter, I’ve rang local council for a letter to state that he’s on a waiting list for a place at an SEN school but could be waiting 6 months or more so they’ll support me in homeschooling I’m gonna resend everything as well as the new letter from the council the emailed me it at teatime I’m hoping we get what we deserve because I’m tired of fighting and getting nowhere xx

I’m so sorry to hear this but I’m also shocked you didn’t get an award, I think all you’ve just said should be enough to be awarded, I don’t know what’s going on with the DMs at the moment people seem to be getting rejected or a lower rate award than they should going by there guide to Dla rates

@Matilde08 I hope you can speak to someone like citizens advice or something and get this sorted! I don't know how you can wait 30wks and that's what your boy has been awarded! It's a joke, get an MR done ASAP! Been thinking of yoh hut had a lot on in the BG so not replied in a while
