Mamof2devils · 12/06/2024 18:17

Mine is 04/03

Jobeanz · 12/06/2024 18:22

How do people know their scan dates. My letter after I originally sent in my claim was sent to me at the start of march but it said they had received my paperwork at the 20th February. I’m not sure I’ll get anything since I don’t have an official diagnosis just a referral I can but hope.

CyanFawn · 12/06/2024 18:24

Parking, 02/04 scan date. 2 letters so far

sayasand · 12/06/2024 18:26

Parking 18/12, 05/01 SD, 06/05 MR

Called today to see if we could be prioritised due to issues with funding at nursery without DLA award. Original letter said 11 weeks, the lady on the phone advised 6-8 weeks? She said all she can do is pop a note on for when DM picks it up & hope they pick it up next week. It's a weird ask so it is what it is! Hopefully the last thread for many! Fingers crossed 🙏🏻

Watching for you @Matilde08 🙏🏻

Ahh. Thanks. I’ll just wait and see. I don’t think phoning them will make any difference to the outcome anyway and it seems like they are still dealing with claims from February. Thanks.

What evidence did you send with your claim forms?? Im sorry there messing you about its so much hard work just to get our kids what they are entitled too xx

I sent reports from school, I had family members write stuff to back up what I was saying, it’s very hard when he does it in his safe space xx

Mhow · 12/06/2024 18:55

It's okay your welcome and it's worth ringing to see where your at.. I wouldn't worry about not having a diagnosis as first time I claimed I didn't have one and he was awarded.. my claim I'm waiting for now is my other son he's not diagnosed yet.. hopefully you get some good news shortly 🤞🏻🙏🏼

Emma2345 · 12/06/2024 19:09

@WaitTimeWarrior not sure what you’ve been awarded rate wise but do that MR I would say you should get HRC I get that for my son who has to be supervised at all times up all intervals of night HRC is usually awarded for frequent supervision or help promptin excetra both day and night time ,,, to qualify you have to frequently thru the night or once thru the night for at least 20 minutes or longer and for frequently through the day too ,,, my boy can not be left unsupervised has dangerous or unpredictable behaviour throughout the day also and the night that is an award of HRC I got awarded when my boy had just turned 3 but applied when he was 2 took 17 weeks to be awarded but don’t let age put you off and also he is not on any sleep medication hope this helps xx

Mumofthecrazygang86 · 12/06/2024 19:59

Ahhh. Thanks. Maybe I’ll ring next week if I haven’t heard. I’m a bit concerned as my mother in law made a supporting statement but she sadly passed away at the end of April I’m not sure if they ever get in touch with people who give the statements though. It’s just a bit of a shitty time at the moment so even if it’s awarded it will be kind of bittersweet.
Fingers crossed for you with your second x

I hope this gives you a bit more hope for your outcome ☺️

Same scan date as me hopefully we hear soon, I’ve additional letters to send in from school as he’s only getting worse in school and now they think he needs a SEN school only not mainstream tried ringing today to see if they can put notes on whilst I send them was on hold a hour n 45 mins

SK2024 · 12/06/2024 20:48

I posted my MR yesterday so a long wait for me, perhaps? .... I'm still very surprised I got an initial (refusal) decision after them only having my COC form for 3 days!
