congratulations on all the awards today its crazy how people from march are being awarded and people like me waiting from.27th feb still waiting really does feel like there is no set pattern at all.

Is anyone else fighting the urge to call daily? I say to myself every evening- just leave it now but when I wake up I want to call! Scan date 13/03 and eldest 28/03

I’m wondering if while they wait for more info off schools/drs they carry on with claims that can continue without extra checks it’s baffling 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’m so nervous to ring I feel like they’ll put me to the back of the queue 😬

I called mon and today! She made a snide comment on the phone today about "I see u called already this week there's no change" 🙄

Exactly this! Like we don't have enough to deal with. Without them taking months to decide

This may be the case, I provided a letter off the schools senco and an educational psychologist report and they stated everything they needed to know from a school prospective I feel, so was hoping they didn't need to also contact them! They didn't contact them in the end xx

Scan date 5.3 called today been told can't see anything as yet and taking upto 20 weeks. Same on all 3 calls 🙄

i think its just on the speed of how the DM works. some seem much faster then others. i have already provided my daughters IEP and a full report from the school SENDCO

Maybe, probably just pot luck! A lady on here provided loads from the school and they still contacted them so think it depends if the DM is being extra thorough

Getting very nervous about evidence sent for both claims. For youngest I sent paediatric referral for ASD, x2 SALT reports, referrals for OT and his nursery filled in the people who know bit- proof for referral for LEAP and other therapies.
For eldest was his initial ADHD referral forms, his ISP from school and head of SENCO filled out people you know bit. Along with a good few pages from what I experience daily for both.
No actual official diagnosis as youngest waiting time is 18 months and eldest 2-3 years (!!!)
does anyone in a similar situation think this will be Ok?

I got a text saying my son qualifies for DLA! I called them earlier and was told I’ll hear very soon, 1 hour and 15 minutes later I got the text.

Does anyone have any idea how long it's taking to scan extra evidence? Scan date is 28/4 and they recieved it yesterday

I got through within 9 minutes of being on hold.

This is my 2nd new claim for the 9yr old
SD 23/02. Awarded 14/06 (but only told today) MRC only, no mobility.

I am doing a MR for LRM as he cannot walk anywhere on his own, has no road sense, dashes in front of cars and would get lost on his own and would not be able to find his way around unfamiliar places, so certainly meets this criteria.

I also think he should be HRC as has both day and night time needs, he is a bed wetter on medication, needing pull ups that he still floods through each night meaning I am up to wash him, strip the bedding and get him settled back into bed every night. I don't remember the last full night's sleep I got.

I had 16 pieces of supporting evidence that was sent in too, Specialist teacher report, Behaviour intervention plan, Ed psych assessment, SALT Report and support plan to name a few!

Got to wait for the DM to call me know to request this.

Hi hun i applied for my son November awarded march this year the nursery filled in the someone who knows the child part we had the referal acceptance for ASD and 2 paediatrician reports and 1 report from salt we was awarded with just that hope this helps xx

I was wondering how long other people have waited for a decision after there claim has been made a priority? I wrote them a letter which they received 7/5 stating the reasons for it to be made urgent and they send priority requests on 10/5 and said it could be up to a month. So just wondering how long others have waited?
