He's 13, diagnosed depressive disorder, anxiety and tics all medicated, he's been referred to salt for communication needs, incontinence nurse as he still wets the bed and soils and about to start specialist therapy with camhs, has a camhs consultation who's not long sent paperwork for autism assessment also think he has pda and recently finished working with base 25 and youth offending team.
Having to restrain him is awful, he's given me bruises and I've done the same to him, I have to tell the school when something has happened as he'll go in and say my mums done this, the first time I had child protection police and social services out but they closed the same day. He'll scratch and bite himself, punch walls, hit his head off walls and we've had incidents of him strangling himself also. He's in a mainstream school but in alternative provision so there's only like 4 other people in his class and he gets 1 to 1, currently about to send of ehcp paperwork. He tried to fight people in the street because they look at him because of his tics and because he doesn't understand feelings or emotions his fight or flight is either all fight or all flight he's gone missing loads which is where the question of pda comes in.
I'm hoping when salt starts and if he's awarded and I can buy communication aids things will get easier on that side, he has no empathy and comes across very cold you can't read his emotions
