This is the number I’m calling . This is also how I got through last week . Maybe I’m getting a moody call handler?!

I have a theory that of you ring up they add a week or 2 on so I am doing everything in my will power to not ring and just wait for a response. Also seems to be quicker if you have less evidence maybe because there's less to chase up 🤷‍♀️

Yeah I rang once to see my scan date but man on phone I couldn't understand him so rang again got my scan date they said 2 letters been sent out but still not received any.. not rang back was waiting out till July 2 but out the blue got txt today been awarded so very happy.. and I think that when a dm picks up piles I think they deal with thinest claims first as they quicker and the thicker ones are left till last.. but we will never no what goes through a dms mind will we lol might see if I can get a job as one just so I can give inside information on what really happens behind closed doors lol

Found out today my child was awarded last Thursday but now sitting writing an Mr as only awarded mcr and no mobility. Can I add new evidence to an Mr?

How old is your child

My child is 5 years old. I have asked his teacher to write a statement for me to do with his mobility and everything like that in school. He is now under Education phycologist and on 2 pathways for camhs as well but I don't think that impacts mobility side of things

I wish I had the time lol.. I might look into it for when my 2 boys are older though..I wouldn't be a good dm id award everyone without out reading forms as i no the stuggles it has in everyone.. and yeah I think they must have call centres all over England.. I did work in a call centre years ago and we never got calls through from our area incase it was friends or family so wonder if it's same for everything

Sharkay06 · 17/06/2024 16:06

Any one in Birmingham with sd 8th March had any news other than the text

MotherAndDSon · 17/06/2024 16:06

Oh ok, I know they don’t get the mobility element till they are 5, maybe worth a call and ask why you don’t get the mobility element of it.

I did ask while on the phone this morning but apparently it was not showing on the screen so they are send me a letter

I didn’t think they awarded it without the mobility element. I maybe wrong. Definitely do a MR for it

I didn't until today but it's doesn't make sense that my child was awarded Thursday and it wouldn't show on their screen the reason mobility was refused. More fighting now. To top it off just finished forms for another of my children to send off

@Mamof2devils hi, what mobility needs does your child have? X Just wondering because you said you don't have a diagnosis, so are they in a wheelchair or non mobile? x
There are many mothers on here waiting for hrm so any advice would be appreciated x

I think you can get HRM if your child has severe mental impairment too.

Aussielover · 17/06/2024 16:18

@OneTiredMumma84 in order to achieve smi you need diagnosis x x

Hi yeah i was shocked when they said hrm as hes not got any diagnosis and only thing I wrote was he can't walk for long due to tiptoe walking he constantly falls over he's unsteady on his feet and cannot walk for long before he loses balance and falls.. he's got a pushchair but he can get out the straps and as meltdowns when trying to put him init and hes to stong for me to restrain.. he's no sense of danger.. he's assessment meeting is tomorrow for autism and awaiting adha assessment aswell.. so I'm not sure how they work it out but that's what they have give him.. hope this helps 😊

Aussielover · 17/06/2024 16:30

@Mamof2devils thank you honey x sounds like vuw which is virtually unable to walk x I'm trying to get smi x I've got lots of evidence x how old is your little one xx

Sharkay067 · 17/06/2024 16:35

I still don't have a clue how all this works I just wrote what he was like lol and he's nearly 5 that's why else I was shocked he's not 5 yet and she said on phone hrm is award from age 3 lrm from age 5.. we still got a long way to go with his needs as he can only go on waiting list for adhd but with it taking so long they can start his assessment from when he turns 5 next month.. I hope you get the outcome your looking for.. it's all so wrong the way we need to fight to be herd isn't xx

Just got through using option 523 the long way but they’re much nicer and helpful.

My son has been awarded HRC and LM until 2026 scan date 27th Feb.

Good luck to everyone waiting 🤞
