I would end it with...
to contact me in the next 10 days to discuss this and come to a solution that will relieve the anguish you have put our family through.

I hope this will make them take action and finally sort it out 🫶

Thank you, dear.. 💐 sound good. My main reason is to let them know in summary what they have done to me and my family.

@Matilde08 Good morning, hope you’re feeling a tad better today. I’ve been following your story for a while now and I’m extremely sorry that all this is happening to you. Truly hope there will be light at the end of the tunnel and your boy is awarded with what he is more than entitled to.
Rooting for your family 💙
Sending hugs and prayers your way xx

Thank you so much for your kind words 🫂 I'm still a bit poorly, but trying to spend some quality time with my family at home. My oldest one(he's 18) helps me with complaint letter as his good with grammar and takes it personally. He was very close to dad and has the most memories of him, so always very protective and keen to help me and support me ..as he have seen the most of my personal grief.
It's fathers day today and like my little one said at school, he has two daddies..one's at home and one's in heaven ❤️💗
I'm naively hoping for at least call from them tomorrow as they promised to call back on Friday. But probably will call them myself around lunch time if nothing.

Morning girls. So I did a coc for higher rate mobility my son already gets hrc and lrm. Is the waiting times from the date I rang for the forms 7th March or the actual scan date 26 March ? X

Getting a bit concerned because apparently my payment was authorised on Wednesday but still nothing in bank or pending and now I’m stressing I put my bank details wrong even though I swear I triple checked them!!! Anyone else who phoned up this week and got good news in the same boat? I’m sure it’s just my perimenopausal anxiety but any reassurance would be great.

I got awarded the same day they told me 3-5 working days so Wednesday latest I’d say we’ll get it x

Scan date but backpay is from the phonecall

UsefulZombie · 16/06/2024 12:53

Has anyone ever woken up to Monday morning back pay or is that not likely because of the weekend?
Just thinking if a decision was made to award on Friday? Potentially?
Scan date 21/02. Trying not to get my hopes up!

If they decide on a Friday I’d of thought it will be paid Wednesday as most on these DLA groups seem to get in cleared into account on Tuesday or Wednesday and it takes around 3 working days after the day they decided so if Friday I’d count Monday as D1 Tuesday D2 and Wednesday get paid. Just my guess x

Have been following this, called just now and been awarded, just for info:

Scan date 22/02
Decision made 12/06
HRC for 2.5 year old suspected ASD until 2026
Backpay should be in account next week.

Good luck to all, it's a long and stressful process.

Congratulations! My son is 3 in July and suspected ASD. He is still non verbal.
I sent in x2 SALT reports. Paediatric referral letter, nursery plan, texts from therapists referring to LEAP and other therapies and a few pages of my own experiences. Do you think this will be enough? Xx

ArtfulJoker · 16/06/2024 19:02

Hope everybody has had a lovely weekend back to the grind for us all tomorrow good luck especially @Matilde08 💕 🤞🏼

Strawbsss · 16/06/2024 19:30

I don't think they scan anything in on weekends.

I haven't seen a single weekend 'scan date' so I'm hoping Monday 26/02 dates will be done this week as they seem to be around the scan dates of Thursday 22nd and Friday 23rd Feb at the moment.

AutumnLea · 16/06/2024 20:11

I think it's less about amount of evidence and more about how you detail care needs. Evidence is just to back up what you've said, as long as it does that you should be fine @Mhow

I was panicking mine wasn't enough but it did confirm what I'd said in the form.

Bennett12 · 16/06/2024 20:42

No I'm 19/3 xx

I've seen on a different thread people have been awarded from the end of Feb and some the beginning of March, one lady was the 20th March, no priority just normal claims so I don't think there's any way to tell what they're doing just got to sit and wait...seen some people waiting 14 weeks, some 15 and some 20 makes no sense

Ok good. I’ve gone into a lot of detail and haven’t stopped sending behavioural/ general updates etc throughout so 🤞🏼 thanks!

Hi all,
I applied for DLA for my 4yo son at the end of October due to bowel incontinence. I stupidly didn't get help with the form but sent in plenty of evidence from consultant, nursery and gp. The decision came back that he didn't qualify and the reasons were that he doesn't have a diagnosis and that some 4 year olds aren't potty trained. I was so upset by this because a diagnosis isn't needed for DLA. My son has had surgeries to remove bowel blockages, he's had botox under GA, he has to gave enemas every night and other medication that keeps myself and DP up during the night due to their effects (mainly vomiting). I won't go into too much detail here but I am on a waiting list to go back to his consultant following trying botox which hasn't worked but it's taking longer than anticipated. I have contacted his assistant and the gp has reached out too but we are still waiting. This appointment should have been in December.
The nursery manager ha written quite a lengthy letter explaining his issues in specific detail so I'm hoping this will be enough to have the decision overturned at MR.

They received the information on 28th March, I've been given different timescales, the latest being 15 weeks so I have another month to go but it's all I can think about. Is anyone else waiting for MR?
I don't even know what happens next if we are told no again.

If you feel it's wrong then you take it to tribunal after an MR is turned down

BlueyMama · 16/06/2024 22:43

I've been quiet lately but been watching hoping that @Matilde08 has had this sorted out and absolutely frustrated for you that you're still waiting and they didn't even phone back on Friday!! I hope you're feeling better and I hope you've sent or sending the complaint off tomorrow! If you haven't already.
🤞🏻 you hear from them tomorrow but we all know how useless they are at this point xxx

UsefulZombie · 17/06/2024 06:26

Good luck everyone, here's hoping it's a week of positive news 🍀

Mummyof6love · 17/06/2024 08:49

Good luck all. I’m tempting to call at 9 seeing as I’m not on the school run but being picked up at 9.15. Fingers crossed for you all xx

Accbabymom1994 · 15/06/2024 22:55

Oh ok I keep on getting private number calling at 10.

That wouldn't be a decision maker they call once ... maybe twice. I'd answer it and say stop calling x

Slow1705 · 17/06/2024 09:14

Spoke to a lovely woman this morning who said mine is still undecided and I'm in week 14. She said most people are finding out about week 17, but it can take up to 20 weeks

Mummyof6love · 17/06/2024 09:15

Worth the phone call! HRC and LRM untill 2026. Good luck everyone! Scan date 21/02. Awarded Friday just gone.

How are people getting decisions when their scan date is later than others? I don’t understand. Shall I call them?
