DLA WAIT TIMES THREAD 45

Renewal documents scanned on 8/3 called today to ask for an update, the guy wasn’t very helpful. My sons DLA finishes on 12/07 he said will hear back 10 days before that date! I have a motability car so unsure if I still can keep this or hand back so frustrating 😞

Usually 3-5 working days so probably Mon to weds next week for your payment.
I think they pay it every 4 weeks? Maybe someone who gets it now would know for sure?

I'm not sure because they could have changed it since I claimed in 2016 when my daughter was on oxygen

Iv had the call to ask questions and told should get an answer my middle of July around same time my youngest dla claim hits 15 weeks 😩

@SendProsecco my decision was made yesterday and she said tue / wed I should receive my back pay then it’s every 4 week on a Tuesday you receive money

I have a question, can I ask for a copy of the application I sent in? My son was awarded last month but I stupidly hadn’t photocopied the application form. Is this at all possible? @Fee89 you may know? X

No letter yet but yesterday £1500 went into our bank account with DS3's NI number and DWP in the heading. So I think we got middle rate care. Scan date 12 February.

Don't know if I'm relieved or frustrated now that it's the weekend and there definitely won't be any news 🫠

I finally received a letter from them today , just the generic ‘sorry we haven’t made a decision yet’ but hey I feel seen 😂

Ahhh ok fabulous. So if mine was done on Wednesday like the guy mentioned then hopefully that means I will get the back pay by Wednesday as only a day or two ahead I assume it will be around the same time frames as yours . :)

Fantastic news so pleased for you hun .. sounds similar to what we are expecting, I was told MRC at £72.65 and LRM at £28.70 so £101.35 weekly if you add up how many weeks from either your call request or the scan date it should hopefully add up to what you got ?! X

I have heard payments are made tuesday or wednesday

I was told my back payment is scheduled for Wednesday next week, I wonder if it takes time to clear? or whether it will actually be there Wednesday

Which day did they say they awarded you? My decision was made Thursday and payment sent same day but didn’t find out about being awarded til Friday

My sons Dla gets paid on a Tuesday and the date she gave me for my daughter Dla is on a Tuesday too but I’ve heard a few people say Wednesdays too

@Crazyhouse4 They awarded me yesterday and said they payment is scheduled for wednesday next week

Mine must be going in on Tuesday then, I was so shocked by them giving me a decision I only wrote down some things and all the rest went over my head 😂 I wonder how long uc will take with there backpayments, seems there taking along time going by posts on here

@Crazyhouse4 omg same. I was sooo shocked. At first they say there wasn't a decision then just before hanging up she was like "oh wait, your account has just been updated"

they told me that we'd be awarded and i just cried and didn't know what to say 🙈
Forgot half of what she said and really should have written everything down

I updated UC yesterday but have heard that can all takes months too
