i had a letter that they received my claim on the 15/02 and had another letter saying they were dealing with it on the 3/03. I’ve had a text today saying there still looking at it and when a decision is made I will receive it in writing and not to contact them. Does anyone else have similar dates that has heard anything 🙂

Fingers crossed we hear soon. I keep seeing people awarded with dates after ours and it makes me worry something is wrong with my application / I haven't provided enough info and they're going to reject it or something

The lady on the phone today said all claims are processed in date order but that def isn't the case, which is understandable as some must be a priorty.

I just wish they could say something like "a decision will be made within 7 days" so we were not left guessing every day

I had the same text today

my scan date is 15/02

I called today before the text and was told claims are taking 20 weeks and not to call again until July 😐

I’ve spoken to them again today. Apparently mine is with decision maker since yesterday. But no decision has been made as of 1400. It’s exhausting. They said they would add a note on there to send me a text message to let me know outcome. Probably means refusal 😥

@Matilde08 I began to ring not long after you and im still on hold too 🤦‍♀️

I’ve seen mixed views on people who have called today, I think I’m going to give them a call on Monday and see what they say😅 it’s such a long waiting game☹️

I think a fair few people have added to be text the outcome . Don’t think it makes a difference to acception or refusal. Stay positive x

Just received a call from DM to confirm a new address to send a letter. Wouldn’t tel me over the phone if he had been awarded. I called them back and they confirmed he had been awarded at last.

I know! Fingers crossed it'll be soon, I just try to think positive and hope I'll hear next week for both of them as I'm on week 30 for my daughters 🤯

Had a bit off a rough week with them from ringing the begining off the week and the lady not been very helpful and arsey. Was ment to ring the day after but couldnt bring my self to 🙈 just got back through after been on hold an hour and 7 minutes. And the lady said theres no decision as off yet but it wont get picked up by anyone till week 12. And to give it another 3 weeks after that so upto week 15. I asked if it was possible for a text and she said it depends if the cm uses that way or not but it wouldnt give me the decision and ide be made to waite till the letter comes 🥴 so not much further forward really

Week 37 from the begining

After almost hour and a half of hold I was connected with nice gentleman, who put me more on hold to check everything. The music now is in my head 🤯 He said on 27th it has been e mailed to Blackpool like a priority and I should call them back on Tuesday as by then the decision will be done. So another 3..4 days of stressing and overthinking if it's award or decline 😪

I was twice on call today... First was cut off after 50 min of hold and second reached almost an hour and a half.

Oh @Matilde08 stay positive my lovely. Hope you receive some good news soon. I would definitely send off the complaint letter positive result or not. Your health is just as important as your little ones award. They shouldn't be allowed to mess with your emotions like this!! Sending positive vibes your way xx

That's a good idea as looks like they lines are super busy today. Let's hope the begging of following week is positive for us 🙏🏼

Thank you 💐 I'm trying to stay positive, but it's so hard after all those nearly 28 weeks of waiting. So many scenarios have gone through my mind.. what if.. But you're right, they have messed with my emotions too much with no empathy.

My scan date is 22/11/2023
so 27 weeks and couple of days. I started to call them only at the middle of April when it was already 20 weeks. I had a feeling my sons claim was just put a side because of that survivor's pension. And they started to do something only when I started to call. Even though I had a call from them to explain that pension at the middle of March and was told, not too long from no on we will be back with our decision. Well, tomorrow we step into June already. They put it like a priority only last week, that's my conclusion when I go through those calls notes.

Aw.. you just cheered me up 😊🫶🏻 if no decline what would be cruel, for sure! 🍹
Hopefully I will hear from them back before 200 days mark 🤯🤞🏻
