Calling again and can't stop cry as this whole never-ending waiting makes me miserable and the simple call makes me super anxious 😪

I just received a text message saying they are looking at my claim and that I do not need to call 😫

I just got the text too, I was hoping it was the decision text, it shouldn’t be long now 🤞

Mine was a full decline too also for asd and adhd but I've had trouble getting my daughter past the triage stage because school don't support my claims as she masks extremely well during school and saves her meltdowns for when she's safe at home. your award gives me hope x

I'm not going to bother sending a sleep diary if it's being looked at already. It might just delay things

We didnt send any proof from school other than stating his been placed on 1-1 learning but they haven't contacted the school to verfiy our gp done our refferalls as he doesn't sleep and causing injuries from his behaviour, have you rang and seen if with a dm yet if not ask for priority xx

Tell them this is effecting your mental health and bringing up trauma that doesn’t need revisiting! I have everything crossed for you lovely x x

Awarded middle rate care and low rate mobility for my 7yo (diagnosed ASD, possible ADHD). Received letter today, 31/5/24.
I’m so pleased. It will make a huge difference to her life.
I hope everyone else who is still waiting gets awarded soon. This wait has been so hard especially as it’s come at the same time as the migration notice from tax credit to universal credits. Very stressful. I hope it’s not much longer for others. X

I will tell them that it has started to affect my own health. All this unknowing and waiting.. I have one of those days when I just simply feel sad and life seems to be too much. Even if I have managed to move on with my life it's extremely challenging and hard sometimes. I wouldn't wish to anyone 😪

It’s so much harder when you hit 15 weeks and you know the decision could be anytime 😵‍💫 I’m going to hold off calling til Tuesday, hopefully there will be a decision by then. You could phone again but have your phone on loud speaker while keeping yourself occupied? 50 mins wait to be hung up on though, I completely understand you're frustration, you just need an answer !

I won't qualify for priority, I have one teacher in school that supports us but the head who dla contacted told dla that the school has no concerns for her and whilst she has extra time for exams no other extra support is given to her so we were basically told by dla there is no professional person who supports my claims and we were declined. She is now in therapy with camhs who is now leading the referral onto the asd pathway, I sent the letter confirming therapy and my requests for help with her at home as extra evidence, I'm still not confident but we will see.

Rang Today Was Told My Daughters MR 20/03 - Was Being Looked At Now With A Decision Maker, And My Sons Shouldn't Be Much Longer (15/02)

Can I ask how you did this? My daughter has just bitten a step during a meltdown and snapped her front tooth in half I’ve been referred to a specialist dentist previous to this incident but still haven’t heard back?

If you mean the emergency dentist I contacted my dentist who got me to be seen at the dental hospital I then rang dla explained what had happened and they added to his notes x

If I remember rightly he said Charlie 🤔 but he was so nice....he was like Good News....gave me rate, when his back pay would be in, when my 1st payment day would be & how much! He should be training others x
