Yeah they need to start making checks I think . a lady from my town been claiming for all five kids for over 9 years she’s just got caught she been filling in form signing it from teachers ! It’s disgusting I hope she she has to pay it all back xx

@Rachfrank they can tell you that person is just being awkward. Call back, state you know your mr has been done and you want to know outcome. If they try fob you off again ask for them to put you through ro someone that can tell you x

I'm on hold still asked to be put through to the case managers I just can tell it's a decline by way she said wait for letter

Hi i am absolutely sick of asking uc for backdating of disabled element, they said its verified and with a decision maker but no time frame, how long do we leave it? Ive wrote numerous journal messaged and always get same reply 🤯

I would leave it an hour then call the 523 way, if it’s just been done it will give it time to go onto the system and they should be able to tell you, tell them you have been told a decision has been made but they wasn’t able to tell you at the time so your calling back up to find out, good luck, keep me posted if you hear anything

Omg I can't believe it after fighting since August last year my son has been awarded high rate care and from july when he turns 5 lrm I was addiment it was a decline when she didn't tell me xxxz

I would appeal your decision if school have also put how tired he is because he doesn’t sleep well at night and you’ve obviously filled in the night time care needs and how long things take then I would definitely do your MR over the phone he seems like my little boy who is 3 and I get HRC for him coz he hardly sleeps and when he does sleep he is back up within an hour or 2 so requires frequent supervision throughout this time as he is extremely violent and has no sense of danger xx

@Emma2345 I have a 3 year old similar, I’m waiting for her scan date to come through. what is your son like outside? I was just wondering if you went into detail about how he is outside if he’s got no sense of danger and violent? I’ve stated a lot for care needs and what she’s like outside on her form, she’s really hard work and needs 1-1 while we are out, I know she can’t get low mobility til she’s 5 but I think she should qualify for high rate mobility

Scan date for my sons form is 13/02

I phoned today for an update and the guy said it had being registered and that he will put a note on it classing it as 1st (never heard this before and unsure if he actually did this or not)

I tried to ask him what he meant about it being "registered" but he didn't really say, what do they mean when they say this?

We have just received a text accepting our claim 😊 scan date 09/02.
Does anybody know how long it takes to get the back payment through?
The message only says a letter will be sent out within 2 weeks.

Hi lovely I put in a mandatory reconsideration for high rate mobility as when I applied for the dla he was 2 but turned 3 by the time it was awarded he is the same extremely violent it states he is delayed in a number of things done by paediatrician this was done at 30 months old and he was scoring between 18months delay and 15 months delay so I would say that is good enough evidence of global development delay which meets criteria for HRM and having to restrain him he doesn’t yet have a diagnosis of autism but school noted his violence and I also added that he is violent at home and that when we’re out he would attack strangers on the bus Or other children if they come near him or was to loud excetra and his siblings and myself at home so I have to restrain him alot he has no sense of danger pretty much non verbal can’t hold a conversation or anything can just say a few words I also put he tries to escape out of pram straps and will run into road with oncoming traffic coz he literally doesn’t understand any dangers he will even bite me and hit me to get away from me when I’m trying to restrain him for his own safety or others I am still waiting to hear from the Mr I have heard that lots of people have to go to tribunal for it and I think I will if I have to because I have tones of video evidence of his violence he headbutts bites slaps kicks excetra xx

@Crazyhouse4 I was miss in formed and my scan date is the 28/2 not 15/2 so I'm not very happy, but the woman was very apologetic and asked me if I wanted to be texted when awarded. So just gotta keep my eye out for that text in the next few weeks xx

Mine was a full decline even though it shouldn't off been but they changed to hrc and lrm with the MR I sent supporting letters and asd Adhd refferalls and my son required emergency dentist on Wednesday morning so added that to the priority Wednesday and awarded today xx
