Sounds like you've sent more than enough to me! We had her nursery fill out the part for someone that knows your child part of the form

Thankyou hun, the nursery dont see any concerns they just say that shes shy and likes to play alone and not with other children. Ive had it with them, i cant wait for her to start her new school September. Her attendance is less than 25% for the whole year at this nursery she literally wont go in she fights and attacks me to get me to keep her home and i admit most of the time i just dont have the energy and im so worn out that i do just let her stay home. So basically the nursery is no good as evidence because thy hardly even know her. But do you think the rest will be enough? X

My girl is exactly the same hun but shes 4 ive send pediatricians reports, an inconclusive autism assessment, melatonin prescription support letter from her aunty who cares for her to give me a break and support letter from gp i havent been awarded tho my scan date is 14/05 unfortunately i have ages to wait. But if you have the schools support that looks really good and will work well for you xx

Thankyou for replying yeah I get dla for my little boy he was awarded this year march he is extremely violent in school and home towards staff and children and family at home we’re doing EHCP after half term for him he excessively stims to the point he causes himself harm and others doesn’t sleep non verbal he is 3 and it’s so much more noticeable in boys ,,, I had loads of evidence to back up with him I had 3 paediatrician reports speech and therapist reports school reports and acceptance of ASD assessment my little girl is the exact same as my boy and I’ve raised concerns since age 2 when she started early years nursery she is so much worse at home then school this has only been picked up in school coz I raised concerns about how she was at home all the time and they noticed she was really falling behind at school and that attention wasn’t good or listening and she excessively talks it was only when the sendco went in to observe her that is was much more noticeable and they noticed and picked up more things she was doing all relating to possible adhd and autism she has to wear ear defenders for loud environment at school because she complains so much about nosies hurting her ears I think because of her sibling I feel like it’s more then likely she does have it as it’s hereditary and I myself have adhd and autism I wasn’t picked up until I was an adult and I just didn’t or don’t Want her being left so long struggling as it’s so much more harder to pick up in girls then boys and they all agreed but other then school noticing a few things and having a speech and language report we have no violent behaviour in school from her no paediatrician reports or anything so a lot less evidence think that’s why I’m so worried about her getting declined 😩😩

Ive seen loads of women get awarded with less evidence than you i wouldnt worry i think you will be fine. its really hard isnt it, girls symptoms are so much different to boys .the fact that the school is supporting you is a reallly good thing xx

Now I can't wait to see you all no drinkers evidence selfies in pgs 🥴🤣🤪

Just one problem... still have to wait for that decision to be made 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Fee89 · 30/05/2024 14:33

Congratulations 🎉 🎊 👏🏻

@BlueyMama @Fee89 I think we will have to sort virtual one for sure 🎊🎉😘 as I'm so grateful for all your care and support 🥰

If "any time soon from now on" turns into another weeks with nothing, I will post my complaint in. But I really hope they will not "forse" me to do that and any time soon really mean in coming couple of days.. 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Yes I hope not too! They've made you wait long enough and it really should take no time at all on their side of things now!

Kita86 · 30/05/2024 14:37

Oh thats awful she sounds like my daughter, I'm sorry they're not helping at all and I hope the school she will be attending in September will be much more help for her! You definitely have sent enough and I'll keep my 🤞🏻 for an award for your little girl! It's unfortunate so many places still don't seem to help our little ones, it's really not on especially in a setting where children are the main priority and their development etc xxx

@Matilde08 I'm showing my nerdy side here.. but as detective pikachu once said "I feel it in me jellies!"

BlueyMama · 30/05/2024 14:49

Sorry to be a pain and I know it's been posted before but I've never saved it but can someone please post the screenshot on how to update UC please, also do I need the letter as I've not received it yet?

Aw thankyou so much this gives me hope ,, and it really is I sometimes feel like what kids scream the loudest get noticed the most like my little boy it took them about a week to 2 week to come to me and say we think he has autism because of his behaviour and non verbal and stimming excetra but when theirs children who mask and hold everything in till they come home then explode it’s like their the ones that get unnoticed if that makes sense it’s so hard because we suffer in silence with it because it’s not picked up on cos they mask at school and especially with girls it’s so so much harder to be picked up I’ve still got ages to wait for a decision anyway I think my scan date is 22/05 x

Yes I totally agree I am so glad that they have noticed some things and picked some things up but I just feel like it may not be enough only evidence I have is 2 letters from speech and language and the school wrote me a letter and filled in the someone who knows the child part we are filling in the scp referal forms for an autism assessment on the 5th of June and she will be referred to adhd assessment at age 6 so I hope this is all enough evidence she doesn’t sleep either I’m lucky if I get between 1-3 hours sleep a night with her and she has even slept in skwl on occasion coz she doesn’t sleep well at night ,, hopefully we can both keep each other sane with this long wait a head of us 🤣🤣😩

If your on universal credit and been awarded dla you get an element of disabled child element you would inform them from the date your claim was awarded from this is usually the day you ring to request the forms not your scan date hope this helps xx
