Ohhh no sending gentle hugs your way sooo frustrating and feel for you 😢I hope someone can actually sort this and give you at least correct information soon wtf with the texts that is so messed up and they wonder why people call in a state not knowing what to believe so sorry.. just take some breaths and get strength back for today and tomorrow is another day for another battle ❤️ xxx

I spoken to a man who made no sense yesterday so I've just spoken to a lovely lady who said its taking 15 weeks for new claims and they on February claims.. and since I have a renewal aswell as new claim she also said that they processing the April dates for renewals, I think some workers are faster than others at dealing with claims so it's pot luck whos pile you end up on. Good luck to everyone hope it's all good news and not much longer for everyone 😊

According to the lady i spoke to, the texts from 16th were sent in error. So im unsure if thats whole day text for everyone or just certain people. Some apparently stated 2 weeks 😬🤦🏻‍♀️ xx

@Aussielover @Shazzle88 it was a COC and it would be under VUW. My son has unexplained global development delay of about 2 years so quite significant. He can bum shuffle but nothing else.
I sent- community paeds, neonatal, physio/OT and ophthalmology reports. Also supporting letters from portage, nursery, early support and the child disability team.
@ArtfulJoker im absolutely delighted, it’s come just at the right time as my current car is on its last legs so now will be able to get one with added adaptations if needed for my son x

@Kmcx93 just wondering what evidance did you send ?? as my son gets HRC but isn't 3 until December so won't get to apply for mobility until they send forms out in July that's if they send new forms out or go off his original ones my son should qualify HRM as Meets criteria but just wondering what evidance you sent thanks x

Also if I were you I’d ring to request forms now. I waited 8 weeks to receive forms and then only had 2 weeks to fill them in!
which isn’t a lot considering all the evidence to gather..

@Kmcx93 thank you I just seen it lol did you have to put in coc in to add mobility i thought they ment to contact you 6 months before there 3 to add mobility on for when they reach 3 confusing lol x

Going by the waiting times I will pitch my tent for the long haul scan date 15/4. Sent special delivery but no confirmation of receipt. Call to make sure they had it. Goodluck all!

@Fee89 were on week 11 of MR rang again today after they said give another 2 weeks ( that was at 8 weeks but give it a bit extra) but did say some are taking 15-20 weeks but very rare. The lady today was a complete arse to say the least with major attitude and said every MR has been given a new updated text in the past week to say allow atleast 15 weeks now and NOT to contact us before not at 8-10 thats stated on letters i said thats funny ive not had one text or letter since sending it back to evan say use had recieved it so if i didnt ring i wouldnt of known it had arrived. She replied well like i said i cant give an update on anything because youve not allowed the 15 weeks and by calling every other day is not going to speed it up. I said thats funny if you actually had the notes up youde see this is only the 3rd call in 11 weeks and this call was advised to be made from the lady i spoke to a few weeks back so not sure whos details you may be actually looking at. I said ide like to be passed to a manager as i dont like your attitude and i would like an update that your refusing to give im entitled to. As that the phone went dead. So i am not back on hold to see if i get someone a little bit nicer willing to help 🤬🙈

@sjm100 honestly i think i was more in shock at the way she was speaking to me its not on. And then to put the phone down thats when i did loose me sh*t 🤣 so god help who picks this phone up i would like an update then im demanding a manager to purely report KIM 🤬 24 minutes in so far on hold again

@Twinnies010920 I'm sure KIM has been mentioned before, someone said earlier that we have to respect their staff but surely that respect has to go both ways!!!!

So happy for you! So good to see somebody finally get what they are entitled to with no fuss! I have all the people involved you stated above but just one letter for evidence from health visitor team wrote especially for DLA explaining literally all struggles in detail also has GDD like you said and she mentioned every team we are under, Also under portage instead of nursery due to safety concerns, DD has just bitten a step today during a meltdown and snapped front tooth ☹️ this is with my constant supervision too! The thought of nursery makes me feel so uncomfortable with her current harmful behaviour 😞

Hello, I’ve been waiting nearly 2 months for UC to sort out backdated child disability element I’ve wrote on my journal about it, they replied saying they will escalate it, how long after they do that do they sort it. Thank you

Yeah i got told everyone got updated on friday to now advise 15+ weeks. Their attitude is awful. They state us not to abuse staff but we get so much back from them 😡. Make sure you state she hung up on you when requesting a manager 🤦🏻‍♀️. Good luck xx

@Kmcx93 congratulations 🎊 regarding your sister in law, has she phoned up to ask? Mine went to a DM yesterday morning apparently, I rang earlier and they she is currently looking at your award (she meaning DM) but hasn't made a decision yet, it's not in a holding pile she is definitely looking at it. So was wondering if they told your SIL the same, don't think I could wait over a week 🫣😫

Kim refuses to look into anyones claim unless your over 20 weeks. Only then will she help. So may on here have had Kim and EVERYONE has all complained on here about her. There was someone else she hung up on aswell when they requested a manager 🙈
