@Mommy2boys30 when you say you didn't win, do you mean you went to tribunal and didn't win or you wasn't awarded when they made the decision?
Can I ask what evidence you submitted x

Just from my claim, I will be a COC in August when he is 3 to try again, I sent in 2 TAC meetings reviews and reports From Special Needs Early Years Service showing he's delevopmemt delayed can't communicate or understand as they have him as a 9 month old baby, Accepted letted from a special Nursery saying he will have his own keyworker when he starts in September, SALT Report pead waiting confirmation, ASD acceptance letter, and just written up letter explain how he doesn't understand danger or Road safety, he has to be on reins and or pushchair when he has melts down, I went into detail of the SMI rule. So I'm going to wait till he's 3 and should be seen by pead by then and have more evidence to back it up and hopefully try again but he's on HRC which I know you have to be to even be considered to get HRM.

Well done @mumtumok 💪

Mumofthecrazygang86 · 29/05/2024 08:53

Hi, I received a letter accepting my son onto the neurodiversity pathway for assessment on Saturday, should I send this in as extra evidence or don't need to? I'm on week 12 or 13 of first claim

Artjun · 29/05/2024 09:11

Just got off the phone. Was a strange one, I'm at 16 weeks today. He said my claim has been 'registered' and he was just going to check payment rates, I was so happy! Then he came back on the line and said it was assigned yesterday and call back in a week or 2! So still no answer.

Kita86 · 29/05/2024 09:12

I would send in first class should be scanned onto your claim within a week like mine was ring and tell them your sending it , you need to write child’s ref number and name on it at top x

Kita86 · 29/05/2024 09:14

Sounds like it might be with dm good luck hopefully you get a answer today or tomorrow 🤞

I rang this morning as I'm 15 weeks today he said it's been assigned and should hear by the end of this week or beginning of next, got my fingers crossed

ADT13 · 29/05/2024 09:47

Good luck everyone.
15 weeks on Monday, just called and claim not even with dm.
I just find this strange, as after that will take a couple of weeks for decision usually.
We didn't call for priority but still...

Macramepotholder · 29/05/2024 09:48

Scan date 08/02 had text awarding today. Not sure on rates.

Kita86 · 29/05/2024 09:49

Oh wow well done same date as me oh hope my lads is done this week congratulations 🎉

Kita86 · 29/05/2024 09:52

Hopefully if they have all evidence they don’t have to wait for anything else with dm and it gets done that day I’m hoping anyway 🤞

I rang back, he's been awarded MRC! That's what I thought he should get so very happy! Scan date 7/2

BlueyMama · 29/05/2024 10:19

Congrats on all awards!
Hoping to hear something by end of this week
SD 08/02
Held off on calling so far, but I don't think that'll last much longer 😬

Matilde08 · 29/05/2024 10:26

Congratulations to all who have been awarded 💐💐💐

@Matilde08 Awww they do grow up way too quick. I still remember my eldest as a baby 😔. Seriously couldnt go back to that stage now though. I love watching them grow and looking forward to seeing what adult life has for them 💖

They do grow up way too quick 🥹 how old is your oldest one if you don't mind me to ask.

Tomorrow passing another week from the last call 📞 will soon step into 7 months in total of waiting

Kla1913 · 29/05/2024 10:39

Hi congratulations on all awards recently, mine was giving to a dm yesterday morning as a priority due to my carers allowence award ending and I've been living off £42 a week the last two weeks, I called this morning for a update and they said it was with a DM, how long roughly does it take for a decision, my anxiety is through the roof. I feel sick 😫 x

@Matilde08 Think we need to go camp outside the head office until they take notice 😬.
Shes 17. Which makes me feel really old 😂. Shes currently doing her level 2 in childcare then plans on working in hospital. Our hospital is a training hospital so they can put staff through their nursing programme which she wants to do as she wants to be a nurse on childrens ward 💖. The boy is 12 and already has his life planned out lol. He was in mini police in primary school, then once 13 he wants to join police cadets and plans on being a dog handler in police. How old is your eldest? Xx

Shezale · 29/05/2024 10:41

don't know if this helps but i received a text saying we are looking at your claim do not respond 2 and a half weeks ago and i was awarded yesterday for my daughter HRC and LRM
by the looks of it when anyone does get a text it usually means you will have a answer within 2 weeks

Call them at about 3pm for an update. If not done by that time then it should be tomorrow. Mine was 1 working day as priority xx

Mine wasn’t with a DM Friday morning, and I was awarded Friday afternoon - so under half a day. I was made priority two days prior. Good luck 🫶🏼

Well, the office is in Wolverhampton so am I.. Pretty much I know where to put my tent on 😁
Wow, they are really focused of what they want to do..and I think it's amazing. All the best for them. My oldest one is 18, very determined as well. Then 14 year old one, 11 year old one who will start secondary school this year, and my little monkey just turned 9. They have that healthy competition between themselves what I find beneficial when it's about school, success

@Mommy2boys30 i tried calling tax credits today. On hold for 1 hour 20 minutes for the automated person to say “we are unable to take your call right now. Please call another time” and the call ended. Im about to go to the post office with a calm but strongly worded letter. I hit 14 months next week since i first applied for DLA with my youngest daughter 😩 Im not giving up but damn im tired of this 😞
