Hi am just wondering if any of parents on here have dealt with any thnk similiar for advice I’m still waiting on mr but since last week I carnt leave my house with my doughter untill about 7 at ngt wen sun goes down shes 2 and half and screams in pain with the light out side and that’s just opening door I’ve tryed sunglasses and hat but she suffers with migraines and has bpt so hates her head been touched oh any thnk on it I’m realy struggling to even leave house we waiting on eye specialist she has a eye infection agin at min could this be making it worse

Hey, i personally suffer with migraines to point im under neurology and had many brain scans. I totally understand her pain. Honestly just a little bit of light can really through me over the edge! Id actually take her to a&e while light so they can see her at her worst. I take monthly injections now along with antisickness and asprin as it thins the blood for the brain/head. Before a bad migraine attack would leave me in bed for a solid week. Also make sure she is hydrated at all times xx

@Fee89 she is currently on propranolol for them and I rung bay call they said coz she in house fine with that lighting they not that concerned and to wait for appointment carnt even get her to nursery feel so sorry for her I’ve been giving her paracetamol she only has 1 kidney so can’t give her out else then that

I do Kickboxing so this claim has had me kicking the bag and others at the gym much more aggressively than I ever had before! 😂😂

I received an email from my son's consultant saying that they were contacted by DWP few weeks back and he said that he did tell them about my son's medical condition and that he believes he would benefit from being on DLA so he can receive that extra support. My son's consultant is the one that pushed me to put in the claim as I always believed he wouldn't get accepted.
I am hoping 🤞🏼🤞🏼 that it's a good sign! Xx

Oh bless her 💕 keep on at that, as you all cant live like that. Migraines do take over and can leave you in such a sorry state as an adult never mind a child. Have they asked you to keep a food diary?

@Fee89 they havnt said any thnk about a food diary , she is very fussy with food but good size loves her milk she been under nerocogist since a baby and with her having benign proxysmall torticollis wen they slowly come out of them migraines there for take over were awaiting her gnomes genetic testing results he thnks it is some thnk genetic as delayed and hearing proublems never sleeps properly also her migraines take her all of a sudden 1 min fine next min on floor losses balance sick for hours and carnt move supermarket lights can some times trigger them but this is the 1 st with how long the day light out side has gone on I’m gunna take her up to day and demand some 1 to see her thanks for replying

Really random but don't know whether it's worth looking into but I was reading an article about how migraines could be associated with epilepsy 🤔 xx

Fuming......So just called stated on phone although iv been waiting since January iv tech been waiting since October as you have to wait 3 months before you can even apply. Stated yesterday alone she had 9 hypos, thats 9 different treatments, some take long to bring back up and you have to treat every 15 mins. So 1 hypo can need 2 treatments for example. She was a yoyo last night, would get her up then she would drop again. Stated this is causing her to have so much time off school (her body is weak today). She stated she would put it as financial hardship?? What 🤦🏻‍♀️????? She said it may not make it get picked up quicker but atleast that note is on system 🤬. I asked i need to know if its even with a d.m. (wouldnt say yes or no) she tried counting my weeks told her, she then said it doesnt go to d.m until 15 weeks (BULLSHIT) then it takes upto a week to get an answer 🤬🤦🏻‍♀️😡

Just received a text my son qualifiess! 15weeks on the dot - so glad that’s over. Couldn’t praise this thread enough for the continuous support!💕 scan date: 12/01

He got high rate care - no mobility.

just for reference my son is 4 without an official diagnosis. We know he has severe autism though - non verbal and requires substantial support in all areas.
