Our scan date is 11/01/24. Called for the first time today. She said no decision has ben made. I asked for her to check the file to see if with decision maker. She said yes it is indeed and i can call on Monday for an update. However, she did mention i will get a text with the decision too. Will update if i hear anything.

Called today aswell been told it’s been sent to a dm

I’m trying to do exactly the same. My plan is to call on 7th May as that will put as on exactly 14 weeks.
I can’t be arsed with them chatting shit to me and being told one thing by one and something else by someone else. I’m going to take everything with a pinch of salt unless it’s an actual decision x

actually gutted, don't get me wrong I'm happy people have been awarded but now I feel like we will receive a decline as they have no update.
04/01 is our scan date and there's many others after my scan date that have already been awarded

Looking for some advice on Change of circumstances, My DS has been on DLA for a year HRC no mobility. He now has an official diagnosis. if we do a COC do we still continue getting the DLa we have been awarded all ready or does it stop whilst they look at the COC. also do we need to do a COC form because we have an official diagnosis?

Has anybody been awarded HRM for an under 5 year old for autism? Or is it virtually impossible, I don’t know whether to hold my breath on if we’ll be awarded as we’re struggling going anywhere atm DD also cannot attend nursery due safety concerns

And thanks to you ..again, I got that courage to give a call again today. Lovely young lady responded and I explained how long I have waited, no clarity with two previous calls to check the progress and would really appreciate to find out what's going on and why it takes so long. As if they need some additional information or there's any other issues, I would like to know. But it's nearly 6 months now and decision have not been made. She said yes, she can see and surprised herself why there's no update. She then passed again to that special services, put me on hold. And came back herself to me to saying that it has been forwarder to case manager to have a look why there's no decision made yet and they will call me back...today or tomorrow. I really hope everything's ok and I'm getting good news shortly. As I'm at this point where I even start to overthink what if he's claim declined. But they have so much evidence and support letters from school, hospital, CAMHs about his autism assessment.

Ohh @Persianpoppy I'm sorry that there's no updates for you. Didn't he say that it's with DM? I know its disheartening but they said to call on Friday if there's no news so you'll have to call tomorrow and demand answers. You're 16weeks today. I really hope it goes well for you 🙏 il will be thinking of you tomorrow ❤️

Thanks... Well, had a call back from the manager about my case and now I'm at the point where I think it could be declined. They do additional check ups about if he's even eligible for this payment. Was honest and let them know we have widows pension as his dad passed away and he's eligible for that. It's like child maintenance from country in case one of the parents have passed away before child turns 18. They called me about this already before..more than two months ago to get more information. That's why my boys claim is stucked there for so long. He said, they will try to check everything as soon as possible, but if I'm not hearing anything back from them following 6 weeks, I should call them again. At this point I will prepare myself It's declined as I feel super tired and down. For me it's actually to get that status that I'm looking after my special need child.
