DLA WAITING TIME 2024

Seems last week a big bulk got done and this week is slower xx

I feel like we both here are kind of 'seniors' ..🤦🏻‍♀️🤭 stucked from the last year...

does anyone still left here not awarded yet from scan date December 2023?

That’s exactly how I feel 😂😂 we are here with November dates and people with January dates are being awarded. Feel like I’m shrivelling away in the back😂

hopefully we get a bulk end of this week…including mine 😅🤞 xx

That is sooo true! I genuinely do actually have a good gut feeling for our scan dates being soon!
I seen someone else's post with our scan date who was awarded so quite possibly be sometime this week for us. I keep telling myself there's MANY people with a claim so it may take about a week or so to even get through one scan date before moving onto the next! 🤞🏼❤️

I know what the wait is like. Im currently 11 months into a pip renewal. The wait is awful and seeing others done before you annoys you, even when you try to not let it xx

Pip is the worst in my opinion!
I asked for pip due to alopecia, anxiety panic attacks and ptsd... I was so agitated that I passed out during interview.... and got declined...she put that I was just a typical person no visible issues... and no sign of alopecia (gp letter and visibly only half my hair! )
Son was taken off care on pip and only gets lrm even tho he won't wash without prompting and can't budget or collect medication nor take unless handed to him.

Also 19th December here!! 😬 Called yesterday to be told it's still with a DM and no decision yet, last week I was told it went to a DM on the 8th so been 2 weeks now but don't know what to believe after reading the lies most on here have been told by them 😩

Hope tomorrow brings lots of awards for all you lovelies and your babies get what they deserve ❤️

Oh my goodness, hopefully not long for you if it’s with the DM! Let’s be buddies whilst we wait news! Mine is on hold until they receive information from school and that was posted last week, so I’ve no idea when it’ll be with the DM. Keep us posted and good luck x

Honestly starting to wish I never applied with the amount of stress it causes 🙈 I wish it were simpler and dla were easier to communicate with!

Now I'm panicking because when it asks about whether they can hear a whisper and normal voice in a quiet room, I put yes and then changed it to no, my boy is partially deaf and while he can hear voices, he often misheard words. Now I'm thinking I should have kept my answer as no. Its so bloody confusing 😩 now I feel like they will say no based on that and I don't know what to do xx
