DLA WAITING TIME 2024

I just had a thought, my scan date is 10/04 and that makes 16 weeks the end of July and 20 weeks is end of August, so how are they going to speak to the school in the holidays? SENCO is more than happy to speak to them but now I can't help but think they will decline because they won't be able to speak to the school 🤔 xx

Will you be calling them at all? I will try and find some point tomorrow to give them a call, didn't get a chance today

How long ago did you send your marriage certificate? That’s a good excuse to call and see if they’ve recieved it while asking for an update xx

2 letters received no texts and phone up on 3 occasions ive been told it was with dm 2 weeks ago and now its being looked at should have a decision by the end of this week or next

Can I ask those who received a message, did you print off your forms at home or request them? Just trying to figure out if that the reason why I didn’t get a text today like everyone else.

I printed them off myself. But I did notice that some people on here said they got text messages last week with a scan date after mine x

Sent it out first class last Thursday, on exact day I called them. Was thinking the same that I could use it like an excuse to find out if they have received it.
When you called.. did you choose option where you have waited more than 20 weeks?

I call the long way. When I call the option ‘waited more than 20 weeks’ they never have my information as he doesn’t have a proper reference number it’s a clerical case number, they transfer me to someone else and I end up waiting around 20mins. So the long way is better for me. Twice when I called the short way they tried to say my application is lost and they’ll send me out a new form to fill😂😂

I didn’t get a text and I know a lot of others never got texts, they were all awarded in previous threads x

Yh I would . I wasn't expecting mine to even be with a dm till may but it has been since 8/4

I got told it was then was told twice (Thursday 2nd time) that it wasnt x

Really!! The only reason I phoned today was to double check mine was 😂.
The man i spoke to said it was really nice and then told me it was currently being looked at. I won't hold any hope out yet though goin off all the posts I've seen on here

I’ve been waiting since the 5th of April. I have called and left multiple messages. I only received one response so far, saying it’s been passed to a decision maker that’s it xx and whenever I call they tell me to wait to heir back via the journal

Hi I printed out the form and sent it. No letter or texts I saw payment pending in my bank. So not everyone gets a text or letters xx
