im considering it, been with a DM since last Tuesday. The lady I spoke to last week said if I hadn’t heard by Monday (today) to phone but wondering whether to give it a few more days 🤷‍♀️

I was told I should hear by Thursday/Friday this week so waiting until then to ring.. it's hard not to ring though 😂

Morning, I’m going to call child benefit this morning and see if my form is still lost. Depending how long I’m on hold there I’ll try DLA aswell. Really hoping you get good news this morning 🙌🤞🤩 xx

@Fee89 they added my premium on to my tax credits this morning extra £100 then got a random £56 payment from them to but no back pay of them . Can't set up the app can't pass the security questions and have no passport or driving licence 😔

Finally got awarded after a long wait and then continuing to fight.

I don't feel the award is correct and I have further evidence (long awaited diagnoses, which we got after the decision). Do I send it in and fight for a higher rate?

Or best leave it and be grateful my child has something. Worried it may effect it and get nothing. What have people done in this situation ?

I guess it depends on what rate you were awarded and if its worth risking it to be re-looked at, how useful your evidence is, and if its for mobility to ensure you meet all of the criteria on the flow charts online.
What was your scan date please?

With a case manage. Cases taking between 15-16 weeks so shouldn’t be much longer. She acknowledged I’m slightly over that though. So hopefully hear this week.

im not confident I’ll get an award. My son is an excellent masker so no support off his school

Give them a ring tell them your unhappy with the award length but happy with the award. Tell them you have since received a diagnosis they may send to DM again I have seen this happen.

Sorry I didn't read correctly. You will need to do an MR if its the award rate your unhappy with they are taking 8-11weeks definitely fight

Just got through, didn't even go on hold!! Still with a DM, but she kept saying it'll be any day now for you, honestly it'll be any day and you should know by the end of the week. 😬that's me done now I'm not calling again this week. Good luck to everyone and keep us all posted!

My child got low rate. Original scan date was August 2023 got refused, so I then did a MR and finally heard back end of March.
Have since received child's diagnoses which effects mobility so now debating to fight it again seems I have this diagnoses.

Can I ask... what is the flow chart online ?

Phoned at 9 (523) and got straight through.
She has been awarded until Nov 2025.

Her Nino went on file on 28th March (after phoning to tell them we claimed child benefit now, she pulled it through there and then). It went to a DM on 2nd April (bank hol in between).

I did this I have sent more evidence after MR I was unhappy with length. I rang they told me send in my extra evidence DM will look at it again. Only did this last week
