yes I have an account, it’s still showing no child benefit claimed on the account. Tempted to make a new claim, but I don’t want to make a mess😂

well that’s what they told me to do 😂 you’ve waited the same length of time. Mine was showing as no claim too. I’d just put a new claim in online and see if it all goes through online this time. Mine did for some reason. Didn’t the first time though 😂🤷🏻‍♀️ xx

I'll wait for my appointment next Monday and ask face to face,
By then it would have been 13 days since I made the changes!
Just write a note in your journal daily amd keep asking them to check if verified x

Nope they taking ages and yeah that’s what they said to me but can be weeks feel like this is going to be as bad as the dredded dla wait xx

Just had another reply, they said the child benefits team will contact dla to verify awards and rates. X

It’s going to be a few weeks for us both by the looks of it after that it has to goto decision maker for the backdate, you do no once it’s verified you can ring and ask for a change of circumstance advance xx

I swear i just got through to the worst person ever!!! She wanted.....daughters ref, her name, d.o.b, my name, my d.o.b, my NI number, first line and postcode, phone number, last 4 digits account no AND name of my bank 😫.

I was told exactly this this morning! "It's been processed we're waiting on the decision now" no idea what it actually means. Few people have suggested different things. Think I'll ring again tomorrow morning see if there's any update

They've asked me all that both times I've called, I thought they were supposed to for data protection.

I usually get asked her ref, her d.o.b and address. By time she got to asking how she could help i almost forgot what i was calling for 😂

Ahhhhh I have no idea either, when he said it’s been processed I thought it had been decided and then he said that 😳 I wonder if we had the same caller. Awww fab, I will look out for you in the morning, I can’t ring tomorrow morning but I can ring Thursday morning so I’ll keep you updated about Thursday x

Just got off the phone, a decision was made on the 5th April. Call handler said she couldn’t see what the award was as she didn’t have access to it.

I’ve had no text or anything.

i just have a horrible feeling it’s a decline 🙁

Id call back and ask for the outcome. If it was done on the 5th then it should be showing on system

The thing is, the call handler asked me the bank details which I’d provided as one of the security questions.

ive never been asked the bank details as a security question before.

dont know if that means anything 🤷🏼‍♀️

If award was granted on the 5th backpay should hit Bank account today or tomorrow

Last week I went through all the security questions, and then realised they hadnt even asked for ref no to find claim first!
