Hi everyone, I know there are a lot of knowledgeable people on this thread so I hope someone can help answer this to save me BH anxiety. My daughter has MRC, due to end on 4th May. I sent in her renewal, which was scanned on 14th March (I believe). I have received her usual monthly payment - due to clear on Tuesday - but also a random £100, exactly £100, in a separate transaction. Her usual payment reference. She's too young for LRM to be added. Does this work out as hinting she's been upped to HRM, or does is signify somehow they've ended her original award early and this is some kind of pro rata'd amount. Thank you :)

We still haven’t heard anything regarding a decision… no text, no letters, no pending payment! It’s not looking good for us. I really don’t understand how they’d be able to turn down the application- but you never know.

This worries me too. That’s the only reason I haven’t complained yet 😄 I’m 20 weeks on Friday, so hoping that will hurry things up a bit. Not sure why I think it will make a difference though 😂 xx

Start of November- I’m on 20+ weeks.

I have had an update over the phone that they were waiting for info from school and have now received that, but not heard anything since then.

I get confused with names sorry. Does your reference start with CL?xx

I think when it hits 20 weeks it gets red flagged on the system and they get their arse in gear and start making moves. This is from what I read when this thread was on part 12-16/17. All the summer applications were taking 20weeks plus.

Not as far as I’m aware. Although I have miss placed the acknowledgment letter.

Wow yours is the furthest back I’ve seen so far. Loads have been awarded from 6th and 7th of December. I’m the 8th but heard nothing. Hope you’re sorted soon x

I'm the 8/12 have you called up at all? I've phoned several times and last week they said it had been assigned to someone but I've not heard anything since, not that it means anything as everyone gets a different story each time they phone 🙄

I called last week but they just said to call back if I haven’t heard by 20 weeks, they didn’t even tell me if it had been assigned to anyone. Can’t wait till it’s over lol

Oh wow! I’m pretty new to this site but seen loads on Facebook groups from 1st to 7th of December I didn’t realise people from November were still waiting. Hopefully it’ll be soon 🤞🏻

The last time I called I was told that so I said could you please check to see if there is any update at all and that was when I was told it was assigned to someone to be looked at x

Ahh it’s so stressful, I’ve seen loads on Facebook groups right upto 7th December, I hope you hear this week coming x

Hopefully the November crew will hear by the end of next week, with the bank holiday out of the way we shouldn’t have too much longer to wait surely!!
