It’s honestly taking its toll on me now, DLA are aware of my daughters recent cancer diagnoses but since I told them and sent all the evidence off it feels like we have just been forgotten , praying we will hear this week! She needs so much stuff now with the persistent hospital trips and lengthy stays 🫣x

Isn’t it horrific waiting so long and seeing loads of people getting their claims accepted after our dates 😂 no hate to them I’m glad for anyone who gets what these darling children deserve , the system is just broken! X

Fingers crossed roll on Tuesday I shall be giving them a ring 😂

Anyone from northern ireland? Curious if wait times are as long over here?

I've called to check extra info etc has been scanned in, we have a appointment on Wednesday so I'll be calling to update after that. Last time I called I was told I'd have a decision mid to end of April xx

Yes that’s the number I’ve used, fastest I’ve got through has been 45 min, and longest has been just over two hours. I just put it on speaker and get on with something else. I need my phone clear for work first thing in the mornings which is when people say it’s fastest to get through. I’ve assumed they’re closed over the bank holidays, does anyone know if that’s right?

I’m in exactly the same boat here ❤️ scan date 4/12 and dm rang me last Friday to say he needed confirmation from the school but they are obviously now closed for 2 weeks 🌚 so hoping it all goes well when he can get in touch! And good luck to you!

does anyone know how long it takes to receive the letter once an award has been granted. Payment received on the 20th match but still no letter

@012345k it can take up to 3weeks. Some get it a few days after the award letter has arrived others wait longe

@012345k I placed a car order under HRM on Saturday without my award letter

@Jadexxx92 thank you, I’ll give it another week and then give them a call to send another. It’s just for my own piece of mind I did hear right and my son was awarded HRC till he is 17. I don’t think I’m entitled to anything else

As expected it's been sooooo quiet on here this weekend.
Hoping there are lots of awards this week! I'll be calling Wednesday after our appointment and hopefully getting an update.
I'm only 12 weeks today so I know I still have a while to go x
