Pointless phonecall, man told me they have my application and my own scan date, that its 'currently being looked into', and that he doesnt know if its with a decision maker or not as he cant see that information.

Make sure you claim carees element that is £185 extra nothing taking from you on top of the £170 with UC

Yes you can uts not the same as cares allowance.. you just need to update UC change of circumstances go under caring for someone for 35+ hr aweek and put the details in of when the award starts and finishes. Then leave a note that you are now in receipt of MRC dla and wanting the disability premium and cares elements to be added and backpayed from award start date

I think they like toaward till the child's 5th birthday in most cases to start with manly depending on condition/ disability

Nice to see those with mid Dec scans getting awarded I’m only 2 weeks behind so gives me hope! Is the money backdated from UC if entitled? Is that carers element and disabled child element? Thanks x

Hey just want some help, scan date 15/12, can not believe it I was awarded mrc and Lrm. Just want to know I have informed uc about this change today. Awarded was made yesterday do you no how long it takes to clear in my bank? Also do uc take money off me now as I work?
