Hiya all scan date 12/12/24, currently on hold for an update. 35 mins on hold so far.

That’s a message to those who already receive dla in regards to the rates changing in April

I’m not going to ring, I’m going to wait till 5th April like she told me to 🙁. I think I’m also going to get off this group for my sanity. Seeing January awards whilst we are still in November doesn’t sit right with me.
But I will probably come back in tomorrow and ask if you’ve rang 😅 xx

Mines 8/1 did they say when it went to dm as they wouldn’t tell me good luck on your claim

She said Feb 20th and she said I should hear by May 1st although I’m not taking it as gospel.

Mine said could be tomorrow or next week but if awarded money should be in the school holiday just guna wait it out now hopefully beginning of may is our month

I called last Monday or Tuesday I think. They’re still waiting for a reference number. Absolute joke. I’m tempted to call now but don’t know if I’ve got it in me to wait an hour on hold 😂 x

Ring the number but press the quick way through I phoned yesterday on that and got straight through x

No I’m j January I only called as I haven’t had any confirmation on receiving my claim forms and was shocked to find out it already with a dm

Not sure which way through I went, but someone answered straight away. But she can’t find anything on my daughter. Name and DOB is bringing up nothing and the CL reference that I’ve given before isn’t working either. they better not have lost it. On hold again whilst she’s trying to find it 🙄 x

Oh no I had this problem yesterday but they did fint it x

She put me through to someone else and he found it. He said the decision maker has written “award is likely” but nothing else. He said shouldn’t be more than another 2 weeks wait. Just relieved they found it 😅 x

Same happened to me yesterday 2 different people couldn’t find my details then they transferred me to the centre which has in more detail that what the call handlers have. They found me with the reference number but not his name or DOB.
