My nerves are on edge. I’ve been told a decision has been made but I didn’t receive any calls from a decision maker or my son’s nursery hasn’t been contacted for further information. I now have to wait for a letter in the post, god knows when that’s going to come.

Aurorastyles · 16/08/2024 09:43

I just called today and they told me it’s now taking 25 weeks for MR’s. This wait is so long :( my scan date was the 3 May for MR. My 15 weeks was up today. When was everyone else’s dates who has been assigned a case manager please?

Illiterate ??? Who are u talking to? Obviously u can have time to work then Yh ? As most the people here can’t due to being with there babies 24/7 who need constant care and attention . You obviously don’t need the dla or your child / children don’t depend on you as there full time carer 🤷‍♀️ either way .. shhhhh !! If you can’t be nice here

Aurorastyles · 20/08/2024 11:53

I am bit shocked to see someone write something so unkind tbh. You definitely need to be mindful of the words you’re putting out into the world.

Despite your username you’re not bringing any Serene vibes to this discussion.

I had an MR date of 29.05 and was expecting at least another month before I heard anything back. Checked my bank today and had an enormous payment from DWP with DLA as the reference so I can only guess it’s been awarded!!!! I’m not sure of the rate and haven’t received a letter yet but just wanted to say they seem to have made a decision before the 15 weeks I was told to expect.

good luck everyone - it is such a lengthy horrible process.

yes I had originally applied back in November/december 2023 and was told he hadn’t been awarded it in May. My scan date for MR was 29.05 and I got this back payment into my account today - no letter yet.

Is anyone calling today? Our MR submission was the 20th of May, unsure what date they’re working on now! X

My MR is April 18th no decision yet, it went to decision maker on 21st August.

Aurorastyles · 27/08/2024 12:03

Doesn’t seem to be moving forward much at all in weeks

Aurorastyles · 27/08/2024 12:05

Has anyone heard back yet who’s date is after the 18th April please?

Mummyof3safire · 27/08/2024 12:33

Still nothing 29/04 x

AS98 · 27/08/2024 12:36

Just called, said it’s assigned with a case worker but no decision yet. New timeframe they’re advising is 25 weeks rather than 15! Crazy when you’ve been waiting since Jan! My eldests MR was overturned in our favour in just 2 weeks in Sept 23!!
