@MrsW12 thank you. I’m Very happy for you and your child. I think I’m going to do your approach and just keep ringing. So frustrating this is and like you said, I’ll never actually meet them face to face so it doesn’t really matter

Was told today been awarded but not had a text. Tbh I’ve never received a text for the duration of waiting for update etc like some have got .

There was someone a few threads back, who said not to update via app but to phone up and add dla to claim and when it was awarded as they will backdate from that date via app means if from that day going forward

I'm braving it and ringing again!
31 minutes on hold so far. I think it's got to be a decline now because loads after me have had a decision

Hi all, newbie here. I called for an update on Tuesday & was told its with a Case Manager & I would have a decision within a week. I then found this post & I didn’t know my scan date so just called again today (Thursday) to get it. This time I was told its with a Case Manager but no decision yet. She said they have a 20 week deadline so they have til the end of this month to make a decision. I hope the first guy was right! Lol

I've just rang back now so I best get through before they shut! Stressing me out now. Doesn't help I'm in pain too so not in the best of moods anyway!

@Muvva1981 Thankyou , yes I’ve wrote another letter today to go with the SCP acceptance just detailing more care needs throughout both the night and day so hopefully they do take the time to read all the information xx
