Does anyone feel like this whole process has aged them? I was told I looked tired this morning and I didn’t even have that when my kids were newborns 🤣

congratulations on your award , I’ve just received my letter of acceptance for my son on the ASD pathway today so will be sending that off as extra evidence , I’m hoping for HRC for him as he doesn’t sleep at all at night and when he does sleep he is then awake with in an hour or 2 and then will be awake all night he requires constant supervision and attention at night because he is violent towards myself his siblings and himself and he sufferers with severe night terrors can I ask if your child requires any night time care needs , just because you for a MRC award ,,, I’m worried with so many people getting MRC lately and a lot of people are appealing for HRC as their child deserves it weather they’ve just not filled it in correctly or weather the DM just hasn’t bothered to read all of the form correctly xx

Thank you, It's been incredibly difficult as on paper my child looks naughty and he genuinely isn't he just can't cope. The stress continues as coc was 28th Nov but been told 2-3 weeks for a decision so I can relax a bit. Feeling over the moon. I never got a text either I just grew some balls and rung up with an excuse of I didn't know if I had time to send a copy of an appointment that's just come for next month 😂 I will see you all when time to do renewals for 2025 😂 x

I wish I took a photo of the form I sent because I can't remember what I wrote down on the last page I know I wrote his poor eating habits his danger around cars/roads and that he doesn't talk much just said around 15 words but for the life of me can't remember of I put his poor sleeping habits he's 3 but sleeps from 9-2 then 5-8 because i have to wake him for nursery even then he doesn't nap in the day or anything he's always been a poor sleeper doesn't help thay I have a baby 5m who's up at 630 so I sleep from 9pm-2 am🤣🤣🤣

@Emma2345 from what I've read over the last few weeks why I've been waiting, when people claims are 'suspected' or waiting referral etc MRC has been awarded, they say it's not based on diagnoses but I think that plays a part because a diagnoses does offer some kind of back up toissues children have and why they have them

I don't know for sure though obviously as there has been some exceptions, hope you get what you are hoping for

Just spoke to a lovely man forgot his name but it’s with a decision maker!! And to call back beginning of next week! I’m more nervous now that I haven’t sent enough evidence for my daughter as she’s only a few waiting lists for different things! Didn’t say anything about sending a text just said to call back!

Just wondered if it’s worth sending in extra evidence, I’ve just received another report that would definitely help the claim but I don’t want to make the wait any longer.. scan date is 22/11 so 15 weeks x

@Lolly966 at least you'll hopefully have an answer. I only sent the letter from SENCO as they'd been waiting for his surgery and his behaviour at home is not any better if not it's worse he's become vindictive and spiteful. He hit me with such force last week I sat and cried but in other ways he's such a lovely boy. X

@Emma2345 i just got awarded HRC for my son. He gets up soooo many times in the night but he’s only 6. So I wasn’t expecting HRC only MRC due to little evidence. We can’t get referred to sleep clinic in our area as they are accepting new patients so can’t get melatonin prescription or any evidence from them. So all we had was his ASD diagnosis report lighting touching on his lack of sleep and separation anxiety.

@xxAmy you should have an answer too though cos we’ve got the same scan date! Call up?

@EasygoinyAmy thank you! I really hope you get the decision your som deserves too! My daughter is the same she hits me, throws her toys in anger and breaks them and hits her older sister, got no danger sense at all, tries to run in roads all sorts it’s so hard work, I’m waiting on community peads and ENT for appointments and her SALT hasn’t met her in person yet so I’ve sent referrals for all of them and obviously written about what she’s like at home in the form I’m just really hoping it’s enough and not a decline x

I’m not sure if it would reach them in time tbh, it probably would sending it special delivery though, I just rang and mines with a dm and told me to call back beginning of next week which will make me 16 weeks Monday x

Awaiting to hear from the dreaded UC now done a change updates yesterday and nothing back rang this morning. Heard nothing again think must the same workers as DLA 😂😂

Just rang them, had the most miserable woman ever, asked them if they'd received my evidence I sent last week she said yes & it's all scanned on ... then she said it's taking 20 weeks to get a decision and I'm nowhere near she said you might as well of waited instead of ringing omg 🤣 my scan date is 27/11

Gave in and called and got through to a lovely man who said it went to a dm yesterday and to call back if not received a text or letter in 2 weeks 🙄. Do I believe this or not! I’m hoping it’ll be as quick as some others that have been with a dm recently. Was just about to hang up as my 3 year old has lined the entire upstairs floor with muslin squares, towels, nappies and cotton wool balls 😩

He does yes. Once he’s asleep he tends to sleep all night but it’s getting him to sleep and settle which is the issue . He climbs constantly , has no sense of danger so I have to stay in his room with him till he falls asleep. Sometimes it can take hours. There is no consistency to his sleep pattern. It’s exhausting in all honesty . He’s still in a cot even tho he has his bottom bunk all ready for him and I’ve tried him in it and he just doesn’t sleep . I think he feels more secure in his cot but it’s not going to last forever .

you definitely are entitled to Hrc from what you’ve said there. I’m crossing my fingers for you that you get what he deserves x

@MummyJones94 I called to check and they said she was awarded yesterday.

Just to let you know I decided to call again today as seeing people being awarded after my date (scan date 10/11) and I explained I phoned yesterday to check extra evidence received and I was confused that she told me it was going to be another 6-8 weeks. She said “did she not tell you you’ve been awarded?” Can’t believe it!

feel like whoever I spoke to yesterday morning and woken up properly or knew what they were doing!
