Just got through, with a dm now 😒 this is painful hahaha

The lady was lovely though, said got passed over last week should be anytime now I hear. She's put a note on to text but have see others request one and not get one so not holding my breath.

Lady on the phone was lovely, she said it went to a decision maker in the last few days and that I should hear any day now a decision 🫣 and has put a note on the system for me to receive a text when a decision is made. An hour and 30 minutes on hold.

scan Date 8/11, called last week as I couldn’t remember when it got scanned in. I forgot to ask with the mobility my son was 4 when I sent the forms in ( he should be eligible) he turned 5 in January so I need to do another form or will they take that in to consideration that he turned 5 within a couple months from sending the forms in.

I have decided to call to see currently on hold now 56mins.

this is my second claim my older son has it with out a diagnosis yet. This claim for my youngest has a diagnosis and more evidence but I’m still anxious!

Does anyone know.. with universal credit, when you report that your child is now claiming dla, do you report the change from the date it was awarded from or today? 🙈🙈 seen so many posts about this and here I am.. still asking.

@Sunflower1808 still no award for me yet I’m hoping it’s not much longer I’m counting down the weeeks and days every day sending myself crazy😂🤣🤣 I haven’t rang yet I got my 1st text yesterday saying their still looking at the claim and not to contact them , I’m going to phone next week to see if they recieved speach and language report & hopefully I will have acceptance for my son on the ASD pathway by then so will send that extra evidence over too & use that as my excuse for ringing 🤣 al be 16 weeks from scan date next Wednesday but 17 weeks from requesting forms next Monday x

I'm really concerned about my claim I didn't send any evidence as I didn't have any (still finding hosp stuff from move) he has been diagnosed with asthma and in the pathway to autism, he says about 15 words he's 3 years old, he's in a send nursery full time and I rang to update my information as had his speech and language progress report back (states he is significantly delayed and needs support) but would they have gotten the information from the hosps? (he is with 4) or will I have to do a MR and send the paperwork once I find it? He has a second hearing test booked I wrote so much in the forms but concerned I have to wait a longer period due to a MR as his asthma wouldn't be enough to qualify (even though he was ventilated Nov 2022 he was 1 and 11 months) anyone simular? I need a little hope

I called this morning still no decision but the man I spoke with said it only went to a dm yesterday, I was told at 9am yesterday it was with a dm so must have literally been put in as they started work!

@Sljc13 what’s your scan date ?yeah maybe mine went yesterday I phoned dead on 9 aswell. I can’t believe two people I spoke to wouldn’t tell me when it got sent. Just my luck

@Sunflower1808 howling 😂😂 he signed for the speech and language report last week so I thought I’d give it till next week to seee if it’s on system as we no with him it takes 10 years later and it some how gets lost 🤣🤣🤣 x

How long has it been taking for people to hear a decision once it's with a DM? Roughly.

@Mamoftads3 hi it varies it can take a day some can take a week most I would say 2 weeks but again that would be if they need to contact anyone about it such a school doctors excetra if you have sent in loads of information they usually just make a decision based off that x

@Kezw2601 I'm 8/12, hopefully not much longer now! 🤞 I've only recieved 1 letter with the scan date stating it will take up to 15 weeks, what are the second letters for x

@Emma2345 thank you, I haven't sent a lot of evidence in only her pupil passport from school, so may be in for a bit of a wait while they contact people 🤣 thank you.
