This wait is a killer especially if it’s a decline I’m constantly checking on here x

@bonz2023 @Emma2345 the lady said scan date… she said ok let’s have a look.. scan date 2/11.. let’s count and she counted and said ok your 16 weeks this week so it’s due to go to a dm anyday this week.. I think I’ll call tomorrow too 😂 I can’t handle this!!!x

Hi all scan date 24/11 I just wanted to make some aware when you send in evidence on top of each evidence you need to put your child's reference number/name I've also put our address it was put with my claim the day they recieved it. Hope this info helps & pass it forward!

@Rk123 that may be why mine was on system so quick I put full name and reference number x

Heya, I got through after around 30mins the lady said there is a backlog so just wait and if I’m worried I can take my sons other birth certificate to my local job centre they can verify it then take a copy and I can send a copy instead of the original again. Lucky I got 2 certificates when I registered him.

Parking scan date 16/11!

@Sunflower1808 wow really why don’t you ring back tomorrow find out if it’s been found and if not ask them should you resend it can they see what you’ve sent in at all or do they only no through you giving them the tracking information x?

Scan date 23/9 still not heard anything been with DM since end of January but been awaiting more information from school.
absolutely got the gut it’s going to be declined :( @WhereDidTheTimeGo888 I’m still waiting :( x

@Jessyjay11 Can you ring the school to see if it’s been sent back and if it was emailed or posted? Maybe give them a little nudge and wil also give you info to phone them back up with. Try to think that no news is good news at the mo.

I’m still waiting, no idea what’s happening with mine. I don’t think I even want to phone anymore. Just going to wait and see. Xx

@WhereDidTheTimeGo888 i spoke to school today and Iv got the impression it hasn’t been sent. I said has it been sent and couldn’t give me an answer just said she would chase it 🤯when was your scan date xx

@Jessyjay11 not surprised at all with that tbh. between the DWP and the school, you just can't get a straight answer! Surely they won’t wait forever.

I’m 12/10, phoned last wk and was with a DM but they didn’t know how long it had been and DM hadn’t written any notes in the system. Xx

8/11 scan date 👀👀

Following from the last god knows how many threads 😂 scan date 15/11. Been told 3 different things each time I’ve rang I’ve been told should have a decision by the end of feb, I’ve also been told it’s with a dm then the last phone call was to say it was in a holding pile.. how that works is beyond me so think I’ll just wait for a letter because each time I ring up it’s something different or it doesn’t make sense 😂 x

Scan date 20/11 - just parking here for updates etc but my gosh why are some call handlers SO rude!!

@mummyof3girlsx Ooo Iam 3/11 fingers crossed not to long now for us November people 🙏 I phoned last week spoke to a lovely lady who also said it’s around 16 week wait and up2 two week with dm she did say keep checking bank though lmao charming doing enough checking txts calls and on here 🤦‍♀️😂never mind bank xx

But is it 16 weeks from when you call for forms or 16 weeks from scan date...with the info on here it's hard to know what to believe

Hi Iam sure its from scan date seen on a previous post someone said from scan date they got backdated, bit silly though isn’t it if that’s the case x

I didn’t know my scan date so I phoned up Thursday (turns out it’s 5/11) and the call handler checked everything for me. He said it’s in the queue for the decision maker. We are working at roughly 16 weeks but some claims are taking up to 20 weeks. If you haven’t heard back by the end of march ring us back.
