No he said the reason for decline will be in the letter, I think that’ll be the reason as I never sent any evidence really. Good luck for your claim x

I’m mark placing altho with scan date 06/12 I probably have at least another month to go. I already receive DLA for one of my children - the wait then (2021 I believe was about 14 weeks). It’s interesting how some are waiting a long time tho 20+ weeks and some are done in 16 I wonder if it depends how much evidence has been sent.. little then could be easy to decline or too much could take longer as they need to go through it.. who knows !!

@oliviaxxx scan date was the 13/9 its so disheartening when you’ve waited that long for them to decline it, feel like I don’t have the fight in me to go through it all again x

@Mamof31 sorry to hear you got declined , fight for what you believe ur child is entitled to definitely do a MR x

I called today. Scan date 01/11 still not with a DM but said it should be soon. Its so disheartening when later dates have been awarded. I'm fully preparing myself for a refusal

@Emma2345 nothing today 🙈 i didnt dare call as he said he would call me to update me on the missing post Thursday so i will wait until 2ish and if i havent heard ill call again x ive photocopied all rhe extra evidence i sent again and got it ready in a envelope incase it still hasnt been found as dont want that holding it up any more 😪 x did you call today?x

@Mamof31 I'm so sorry. It’s disgusting that you’ve waited all of this time and had to call up to be told that. At least when you eventually get the letter you can see why it was declined and write all the reasons why they’re talking utter crap. Hope it gets awarded. Xx

Referrals for SALT, paediatricians referrals, HV notes & ophthalmology reports😵‍💫 she doesn't attend nursery and never has. Mehhh the wait is killing me.

yeh I agree!! Strange thing was when my son was awarded MRC bad LRM I didn’t really have that much evidence eg had a diagnosis (just) but only SENCO notes. No actual letter from
school. I just wrote LOADS on the form so I’m guessing that helps? I def didn’t have as many reports / evidence as you, my guess is that some people just rely on the evidence like the letter from the professional, but don’t really write that much themselves but I don’t know?!!
