@RainsbowandBunnies Hiya have u had Ur UC backdated? Or are you still waiting on a reply off the DM? I'm still waiting and it's been nearly 3 weeks . They just keep telling me it's with the DM and they can't rush it. X

@Gracie1909 nope just had the standard letters to say gone to DM my payment dates 21st and there's no statement for Feb yet so I'm guessing they are still dealing with adding those elements on... not had dla backpay yet I know it's coming at some point though so have forgotten about that x

Any more November dates yet? 3/11 phoned last week said taking 16 week and 2 week with dm she said keep checking bank was 15 weeks Friday isn’t half playing on my anxiety this waiting. Probably be a decline anyway😌

My daughter has been awarded! Looks like lrc only, I’m happy for her, I won’t mr, but feel she could have had mobility, she has hypermobility, has to have physio, diagnosed with ADHD, sensory seeking behaviour and tics, I will call later today to see how long award for, scan date 23/10, good luck to all your children x

My son has been diagnosed with asd and adha also has developmental language disorder along with learning difficulties any one with an idea if his entitled it’s our first claim

Could I please ask if anybody knows if my daughter will be entitled to the disability element on UC? My son is on pip, but as he is 16 and still in home education he also gets the element on my UC? Can I still request it to be backdated? Thanks

@LoudBee my little was awarded back in early December, scan date was 31/7. Dla was backdated, I requested backdate of child element on 7th of December, still waiting for decision to be made on it. I already get carers and disability child element for older child as well so was expecting it to take this long. I've called a few times and they just keep telling me put it in journal, and when I do they just say they are looking into it. Last week I was told its with a decision maker. Its been almost 3 months since requesting it.

Just received back payment of £1,710.60 after CoC. I make that HRC & HRM for 22 weeks, is that right? He was getting MRC & LRM. Will call at 9am to double check x

@Hayz0711 ive just worked it out and that seems correct. Sorry to be nosey but what does your child recieve HRM for I have just done an MR regarding this x

That’s a crazy amount of time! I hope you get it sorted very soon, thank you for letting me know, I will request it, I’m still a bit unhappy the rate she was awarded, however I’m worried if I challenge it, she could loose it all together? Thanks so much

@Asdmomof2 he has Down syndrome, awaiting ASD assessment, has complex congenital heart disease, a life limiting heart/lung disease, inflammatory bowel disease, lung disease & a few others. I was very much expecting to do an MR, in fact I’ve already printed forms!😂
So glad it’s finally over! Just now I hope it’s awarded for at least 3.5 years, until he goes over to PIP

@Hayz0711 I’m so glad it’s over for you too it’s draining isn’t it? I originally did the COC in June so it just feels like it’s going on forever! I’m glad your little one got what he deserves x

Just got off the phone to a lovely lady. My son has been awarded HRC & HRM until 6/1/28! So no more applying for DLA as he’ll go over to PIP. Thank you all for keeping me sane these last 900 weeks!😂

I got a text to say my daughter qualifies this morning, scan date 5/10 and more evidence delivered yesterday. So relived, good luck everyone! X

Anyone know how long the backdated payment takes one it’s been awarded? Awarded 18/02 and rang yesterday for them to tell me that. No text or letter about the award. She said it’ll be about 2040 which is higher rate care backdated to the day I rang for the form give or take. Very confused lol x

@Janemama2024 its usually a few days later probably by the end of this week you’ll have the back payment x
