Hi, new here. My scan date I think was 24/11 it was sent back late due to school not sending it back to me before half term. I did ring last week and they told me it was with a decision maker and should hear either 22/04 or 29/04. Is it normal for them to be with a decision maker for so long?

Just want to say the woman I got through to was fantastic and really friendly xx

I waited over 45 minuets for them to answer and then I couldn’t hear them 😩

Just got off the phone so scan date 25/10 and she said it went to a DM today and should receive a text (I know not everyone does but dunno if she knew this one does or something as she said I should) she said to give 7-10 working days but could be quicker. So atleast I know where it is now and I can jump out of my skin everytime phone buzzes 😂

I did call last week and the lady said it was waiting to go to a dm but they said same thing 2 weeks before that it surely can't be much longer now x

With a dm now and should have a decision by end of the week🙄20/10

Back in waiting game too after submitting MR (via phone today) and also sent off some extra stuff
On a previous post it said 11 weeks wait for MR?
Got awarded LRC and really think it should be MRC so will see

Maybe we should set up a different group for MR related?

@LancsMcG what address did you send your mr too? I’m awaiting my award letter and a letter with reasons for the rate he got and no higher then will be joining the mr waiting game too x

@RainsbowandBunnies I have called they just keep telling me to put it in my journal which I have been doing. Whenever I call they are not very helpful

I shall be doing an MR if my son isn’t awarded HRC & HRM after CoC form, scan date 19/10. Sick of having to fight for what he’s entitled too!🤦‍♀️

Just got off the phone after over 1 hour wait. Awarded hrc and lrm til October 2025.
Award was made today.
Hope everyone else gets what the deserve for their little ones.

@LancsMcG ah thank you I willlto do special delivery, I’m in the same boat as you really my son should be eligible for high rate care or very least middle but he got low rate and I’m very intrigued to know the reasons why x

@Krys83 no they aren't it's really delaysome that the people on the phone can't action anything on the account
Hope it gets sorted soon. My payment is supposed to be 21st the statement isn't even available yet, so I'm assuming it will be a one off bacs payment x

@mumtumok when I spoke with person on phone earlier today there was no reasons on the system - which is bizzare

@LancsMcG i also rang when I had my award text to find out my rate and when she said lower and I asked reasons she said there wasn’t any on the system and she would have to ask the dm to write a letter for reasons. Apparently they only put reasons on the system if no award was given at all x

@LancsMcG I asked for help with MR from CAB everybody’s child is different but feel my son was penalised as no help needed at school they were amazing and would recommend anybody to use them if unsure quick phone call with my reasons of disagreement he then drafted a letter phoned me the next day to see if it sounded ok sent me it out in the post to sign then I forwarded it on if my son gets turned down again he advised to take it to tribunal really dont want this another 11 ish weeks is going to drive me crazy as it is lol

How long is the claim usually sat in the holding pile for?
