DLA Wait Times 2023 part 11

Hi all,

Thought I'd start a new thread as I couldn't comment on the previous one.

I called this morning to see if I had time to send in more info and they are saying it will likely take another 4 weeks for our claim to be looked at. We are the 12th June if this helps anyone.

Heyy iv rang today also to been another 4 weeks although I was originally told 16weeks which would be next with scan date been the 8th June it’s making me so stressed

Our scan date is also the 12th June we were originally told 17weeks so next few weeks we are hoping.

such a long time to wait to potentially have them say no 😣

Hello, I’ve been on hold trying to get through to DLA line for an hour and a half. Is this normal?! Trying to get through to check that a claim I made in August has been received as I’ve heard nothing. TIA.

This was the number I called. A lot of people say they cut some off if the lines are too busy. It's a nightmare to get through, took 10 minutes after this for them to answer. The DLA fb page says ring 9 on the dot for the best chance.

Hi yeah mine is 25/05 I have not heard anything too! I tried calling but the phone hung uo on me. Good luck to anyone still waiting aswell. This so nerve wracking

Hii someone directed me to this chat, thank you... I have a end of June date so looks like I still have a while to wait. Can't wait for this to be over I've already had to do this for my eldest this year now im doing it for my youngest ive spent most the year stressing and waiting for dla answers haha! Has anyone heard anything or rang through to get further updates? 17 weeks on Monday for us. I rang a few weeks back and got through to someone that wasn’t very helpful so put me off ringing again 😣xx

When I spoke to them last week they said 19 weeks from when they accepted my application (August) so I shouldn’t expect to hear anything until January apparently!

He was horrid, I said I appreciate there will be a backlog and he snapped and said we don’t use that word! I was like okay… just want this all to be done with. I’ll be devastated if she’s declined xx

What word would they use then? 🤣 it clearly states up to 15 weeks but people waiting until week 18 and 19 is defo a bloody backlog 😅 some of them are just so rude. X

What an idiot, the one I spoke to last week it sounded like she was at home and had the builders in, I could barely hear her.

I'm 31/5 and I was awarded Friday. Only found out yesterday as I called up x

My son’s CoC was done after 28 weeks, gone from MRC to HRC AND LRM.
Hope you all hear soon.
