DLA Wait Times 2023 part 11

Hi all,

Thought I'd start a new thread as I couldn't comment on the previous one.

I called this morning to see if I had time to send in more info and they are saying it will likely take another 4 weeks for our claim to be looked at. We are the 12th June if this helps anyone.

@JimnJoyce it's crazy how long some people are having to wait. I done the change Wednesday gone, same day it went to a decision maker and then Friday I got the letter on there to say that special circumstances apply. Today I got a message with the amount owed and it's going into the bank 3-5 days. So not even a week. I think it could be down to assessment period maybe and I made the change a day before it ended.

@Mumto2sengirlsxx hi yes I have they never ever get back to me. Ended up calling the UC line who said I'd hear back within 48 hrs from my coach. He finally messaged saying I'm currently in the middle of calculating your back pay and you will hear something once that's done. that was 3 weeks ago.
@candywoo since I put the request i've had 2 of my normal monthly UC payments.

@JimnJoyce wow that's a joke. Make a complaint.

Hi, after 1.5 h waiting on line I was successful to speak with person. My claim was recived on 20th but he told me now to wait for letter with reference number. That can take few weeks.
And for claim to be reviewed can take few months, to march or april. Wow

our claim was received at the start of August, does anyone know how long these take?
We’ve had texts saying they’re still looking at it, and would be 15 weeks next week?
