Mine was scanned on the 10th May it's a renewal anyone heard anything back from round that time? X

Bournecrazy · 04/07/2022 15:57

Same date as me but mines a new application so renewal might be in a different pile

Ah okay, I rang and they said I won't hear until the beginning of August as that's when my claim ends

Bournecrazy · 04/07/2022 16:21

@Shannon26 yes renewals are done as close to the end date as possible so there's no need to send it off so early.

Crazybrood · 04/07/2022 16:25

@Bournecrazy have you heard anything yet? My scan date is 2 days after you.

Bournecrazy · 04/07/2022 16:28

@Crazybrood no, I got a letter on Saturday to say sorry its taken so long but I haven't rang up at all so I've no idea where I'm the line I am.

Crazybrood · 04/07/2022 16:31

@Bournecrazy i expect I will get that letter this week as it’s nearly the 8 weeks now. I haven’t rang up although I am tempted lol

Bournecrazy · 04/07/2022 16:39

@Crazybrood yeah, I didn't see the point ringing if they are only working on mid April dates (by going off other people's comments) if I haven't heard by 10 weeks I'll ring then. I'm hoping it happens soon, it's summer holidays on Friday so the little extea would come at the right time for my girl.

Crazybrood · 04/07/2022 16:44

@Bournecrazy hopefully we do hear soon. Mine break up in 2 weeks but if it’s getting declined I would like to know before they break up. School helped me with my forms and will help with a MR if I need one but if school shuts and I get a no after then im
buggered

kinzzzz · 04/07/2022 17:43

Anyone whos done a MR do they call all of these redecisions?

Kirstiiee · 04/07/2022 17:54

Scan date 22nd April.
they said it should be done in July, he didn’t give me a date or anything.
I’m on week 11.
xx

Mummy2boys1520 · 04/07/2022 17:57

Mummy2boys1520 · 04/07/2022 18:01

kinzzzz · 04/07/2022 18:19

Mummy2boys1520 · 04/07/2022 18:32

doadeer · 04/07/2022 19:51

Scan date 19th called today, woman wasn't most helpful and said should have decision this week.

Fb groups lots seem to have decisions - one was for a 2 yr old without an formal diagnosis yet. Really hoping this bodes well for my 3 yr old

EllaP85 · 04/07/2022 20:12

Hi all, just looking for a bit of advice. Sent in my daughters forms on the 24th June and I’ve not had confirmation that it’s been scanned etc yet.. is this normally by phone or post? I want to send in some extra evidence but I’m assuming I need some sort of reference number for them to be linked first..?

Terri201911 · 04/07/2022 21:27

Scan date 21st April. Decision made text today. Anyone know how long for payment please xx

kinzzzz · 04/07/2022 21:53

More than likely tomorrow or wednesday

Kc1999x · 04/07/2022 22:09

Does that mean they’re coming to the end of April now, my scan date is the 26th

Mummyto4girls86 · 04/07/2022 22:15

I have today received news from my mandatory reconsideration request for my daughters claim originally from February 17th, I've gone from being awarded nothing for her to high rate care and lower rate mobility. I'm over the moon, it just shows that if your claim isn't successful initially its aways worth doing the MR, i did send in loads of additional evidence for the MR but was expecting to have to take it to appeal. Still in shock.

Kc1999x · 04/07/2022 22:22

Congratulations, glad your daughter got what she deserves! Love to hear stuff like this gives me hope If I have to do a MR x

Bournecrazy · 04/07/2022 22:48

@EllaP85 it took about 3 weeks to get a letter back saying we've got your forms etc, on that letter you'll get a ref number you can use to post off any extra things

Kc1999x · 04/07/2022 22:53

If you get refused do they send a text saying this or is that just a letter?
