Kc1999x · 04/07/2022 23:20

Ah okay, I didn’t get a text when the forms were received, think I got my letter saying received nearly a month later😂 fingers crossed thou🤞🏽

Divadee1980 · 04/07/2022 23:33

I got a letter 6 days later after posting it so do you think will hear soon as everybody on here is saying 2 3 weeks later they resived there’s sorry about spelling am dislexic sorry can’t spell what I mean

Kc1999x · 04/07/2022 23:46

I got my “we’re sorry we haven’t….” Letter about 3 weeks ago now, haven’t heard anything from them since and I haven’t phoned either, from what I’ve seen on Facebook group, it seems last week they was working up to the 13th of April, so I assume it will be coming up to the end of April now as I believe I seen someone with the scan date of 21st of April has heard back. I suppose it all depends on which decision maker you get, how fast they’re getting through the work load and depending on if they have to chase up for evidence or if you sent enough in of your own🤷🏽‍♀️

Crazybrood · 05/07/2022 07:29

It’s been 8 weeks nearly for me now and not heard anything other than the we have your claim letter. Would I know by now if it was a no? When my eldest was declined years ago, her decline letter was 6 weeks

kinzzzz · 05/07/2022 07:41

My daughters original scan date was 4th march she got denied 10 weeks later my other daughter was awarded same scan date 7 weeks 4 days later

Crazybrood · 05/07/2022 07:55

Thank you, I’m on pins and the poor scab on my arm is getting the brunt of my anxiety. I’m trying to hold off ringing as long as I can 😩

kinzzzz · 05/07/2022 08:54

I hear u my teeth are taking the brunt of mine 🤣🤣 its frustrating the waiting hopefully its awarded for u 🤞🤞

Crazybrood · 05/07/2022 09:45

school think she will get awarded but after my eldest was knocked back I can’t help think it will be the same even though my youngest has More chance.
you will be needing new teeth by the end of this 😂 have you had any news on your MR?

Mum2Two91 · 05/07/2022 09:54

For anyone waiting on their Mandatory Reconsiderations they are working on dates leading up to and including the 7th June. So was told mine would be another week or 2 as mine was 16th June when they received it. Hope this helps.

kinzzzz · 05/07/2022 13:02

No nothing yet but comment above looks like another week or so as mine was 14th june it was scanned in 😬

kinzzzz · 05/07/2022 13:03

Leanne0790 · 05/07/2022 19:46

Hi, I’m new here but been following the thread for a couple of weeks. Our scan date is 7th June so got a long wait ahead of us. I’m starting to get a little bit worried I’ve sent too much evidence in. I’ve read that they only get around 20 minutes per claim and now I’m worried they won’t read half of what I’ve sent in.

i typed up all my answers because the forms don’t give much space so I sent 10 pages of answers to the questions along with nursery contribution to EHCP, SALT contribution to EHCP, paediatrician report along with all referrals the paediatrician sent (OT, dietician and ASD referral) and proof she’s been granted SEN premium.

I also now have EP report and should have our EHCP in the next couple of weeks.

Do you think this is too much and would you still send the EP report and EHCP?

GrapePearPea · 05/07/2022 19:51

Wow I thought I’d done a lot, I typed up about 3 pages 🤣 !! I wouldn’t worry they have a duty to consider all the evidence you have sent in, more the better I think!

kinzzzz · 05/07/2022 20:29

Wow now i feel like i didnt do enough 🙈 i only wrote 3 pages handwrote 🤣 and everything the school had referral or report wise ... i think they have to look at it all or are supposed to

Kc1999x · 05/07/2022 21:24

I seen someone on a Facebook group send literally the size of a book of evidence😂 I don’t think you can have too much evidence tbh, the lady on the phone to me today said the more you have the better it is to get a positive outcome

Bizzlemizzle · 05/07/2022 23:00

Hey everyone! Went quiet for a bit!

Our renewal was increased (no change from LRM though) and we got the back payment today and we have been able to put a deposit down on a car we desperately need. Just waiting for the paper work from the DLA now to be able to update UC and get that back dated too.

I already feel like a huge weight has lifted!

Also got some good news from school and they are going to have a meeting to discuss getting further referrals for my son as they feel the Autism diagnosis is correct but there's just something else too and they would like to help us look further into it.

kinzzzz · 06/07/2022 07:50

Thats fab news congrats 😄 hopefully u get ur son sorted pretty quick with the new referrals 🥰

dawny30xx · 06/07/2022 09:25

KC2005 · 06/07/2022 09:28
