@Mummy2boys1520 thanks for that info, I was awarded Wednesday, so could be here this week. Are you the person who got HRM?

Mummy2boys1520 · 31/07/2022 20:41

@Mum2Two91 yeah hopefully it should be with you Monday then you back pay as most people seem to get there 3 working days after being awarded. Yeah I got the HRM for my son being Virtually unable to walk

Mumof2gurls · 31/07/2022 23:05

@Mum2Two91 I am hun yes xx

MrsFortSQ · 01/08/2022 08:48

Does anyone know if they text you once it's done? Our form for DS was scanned on 11 May.

Boymummax · 01/08/2022 09:27

My Mr was scanned on the 23rd of June, so 5 weeks last Thursday, I was told last week it had been with the decision maker since the previous Friday. Just called for an update to be told it hasn't even hit the decision maker?? She said there is nothing on the notes to say it had been and now she has marked it as urgent, she said when it goes past the time scale (MR 5 weeks) a Button will pop up "urgent" and will be sent straight to the dm, she said if it was with the dm that button wouldn't be there, it has been sent as urgent now. We were declined on the basis "normal for his age" which he follows strict IEP'S in preschool and also at home, he has many things in place to help him cope with life each day, we are waiting on referrals etc but we did send evidence. He starts school in September and they have already started to put things in place for him, and have worked with the preschool to start his IEP'S on his first day. He is not below his age in anything but struggles daily mentally and emotionally, constant support is needed both at home and at preschool. The decision maker said "all children have IEP'S at school" 🥴 generally have no clue where they got that info but I work in childcare myself so I know that isn't the case.

Has anyone else had this issue? One minute being told with the dm next minute being told it hasnt been passed to them yet?

I’m coming up 12 weeks, scan date 12th May, phoned this morning only took 10pms to get through, she said it went to a decision maker last week so should hear this week but to phone back Friday if not heard by text

Nickymumofmany · 01/08/2022 11:26

I phoned this morning and apparently they had an email this morning stating that new claims are taking 11.5 to 12.5 weeks. I'm the 13th May so have to ring back end of next week if I haven't heard anything.

Mummyofangel · 01/08/2022 12:31

Poppysmum14 · 01/08/2022 14:07

Does anyone know the wait time for the back payment on Universal credits for the disability element?

Bournecrazy · 01/08/2022 14:29

May 10th new claim

I rang up (I hate doing that) but the lady said I'd been sorted out last week MRC/LRM I should have the money tomorrow in the bank, she was so lovely she told me how much too.

I'm so relieved the wait is over, I can stop stressing over money and stalking the fb group

Poppysmum14 · 01/08/2022 15:03

Congratulations @Bournecrazy my daughter got the same xx

Bournecrazy · 01/08/2022 15:09

@Poppysmum14 that's great :) It must be in the name (my girl is Poppy too) we've got it until the day before her 12th birthday in march 2025 she'll be at high school by then so we'll see how things go then

Poppysmum14 · 01/08/2022 15:42

Awww brilliant 🤩 and yes Poppy was rewarded for 4 years until she’s twelve. Don’t forget to apply for a CEA card free cinema admission for her xx

FightingForMyBoy · 01/08/2022 15:46

@Bournecrazy congratulations, really pleased for you!

Bournecrazy · 01/08/2022 16:13

@FightingForMyBoy thank you x

Rara2022 · 01/08/2022 17:09

So pleased for you @Bournecrazy ..
I called this morning & I was told it went to DM last week & I’ve still not heard anything..
I'm down for a text message, does anyone know if they send one if declined or just for qualified claims, I’m preparing myself for a MR.. 😞**

Mumof2gurls · 01/08/2022 17:51

@Poppysmum14 i am wondering the same universal credit have been a nightmare won’t reply to any of my messages

Poppysmum14 · 01/08/2022 18:22

@Mumof2gurls They responded to me but just said it will go to the decision maker. I’m just wondering how long it will take. Strange because they paid me carers element straight away and they are paying me disability element for this month tomorrow but have to wait for the disability element backpay to go to the decision maker. Makes no sense to me. If you don’t get a response just call them and ask why and they have no choice but to answer you then. Let me know how you get on x

Mumof2gurls · 01/08/2022 18:32

@Poppysmum14 honestly ive rang and rang and they won’t tell me anything just said it’s wrong that they have left me like this I’ve had a letter for my daughter who is 4 telling her they have information that I care for her ….. no back payment for carers element or disability not heard anything and no one will tell me anything it’s ridiculous xx

Mumof2gurls · 01/08/2022 18:33

i am due my next uc payment on the 10th so will see what I’m getting this week …. What is the carers eminent and disability element? Do you know? Xx

Mumof2gurls · 01/08/2022 18:34

Also @Poppysmum14 have you claimed carers allowance? X

Poppysmum14 · 01/08/2022 19:01

@Mumof2gurls care element is £168 and disability element is £132 for middle and low rate but you will get more if your child is on the high rate dla. I’ve applied for carers allowance I just need to send my recent payslip and p45.probably take a while to hear back I think. I bet you’re going insane not getting a response. Did you change the details on change of circumstances? X

Mumof2gurls · 01/08/2022 19:03

I did chick yeah and they are so rude honestly gonna put a complaint it because it’s not on and yes I’ve got to do the same recent payslip and p45! Looks as tho we in the same position 😅😂 xx

Mumof2gurls · 01/08/2022 19:04

So did they send you back pay for the caters eliment? And thanks for that I’ve no idea of rates it’s just another thing I’ve asked and they have ignored haha xx

Poppysmum14 · 01/08/2022 20:43

@Mumof2gurls they backdated Carers element straight away but have to wait for decision maker to decide if I get disability element. It’s daft isn’t it. X
