Carrying on the waiting right here!

@kinzzzz ask if they have and if they have ask for a copy of the application so you have it if you need it. Hopefully you aren’t waiting much longer 🤞

kinzzzz · 15/07/2022 15:39

I will do thank you 😁

Mum2Two91 · 15/07/2022 15:56

He told me MR’s are taking 4 & a half weeks now they just like to choose a number I think. Maybe it’s due to where we live?

Mum2Two91 · 15/07/2022 15:56

Fingers crossed for you all

stressbucket1 · 15/07/2022 17:03

@Kc1999x @Bournecrazy
I called before and waited for an hour to get through to be told that nothing has been scanned yet and it can take up to 2 weeks. We posted it a week ago so will chase it up next week. Just hope nothing goes missing it took so long to fill in and so much personal information in there!

GrapePearPea · 15/07/2022 17:10

I did have to call them up when posting as also couldn’t send recorded to the free post address. Their is a full address I think it was in Wolverhampton for those who may want to send any further info recorded.

Kc1999x · 15/07/2022 17:27

when I sent mine off I think I sent it on the 16th of April and they received it on the 26th so that’s ten days. On Monday give them a call dead on 9oclock you’ll wait no more than 10minutes, best time to call, I got straight through on this Monday just gone

kinzzzz · 15/07/2022 17:42

Nah i just think they tell u anything ive been told 4 diffrent things when i call according to last weeks i should have heard something in couple of days that was friday then rung tuesday got told end of nxt week then yesterday i told um be straight with me n he said it should have been looked at already so he marked as urgent 🤦‍♀️

Amberb83 · 15/07/2022 17:50

stressbucket1 · 15/07/2022 18:25

@Kc1999x thanks for the advice, will do! Good luck everyone.
Does anyone know if having an EHCP already means you get approved or does it just depend on the application overall?

Kc1999x · 15/07/2022 18:45

From what I’ve read an ehcp is very good to have, but overall it’s about care needs x

It's all quiet on the fb group, hopefully tomorrow when people can ring they'll be more of an update to what dates they are working on

Does dla effect JSA? I’ve worked all my life but with health problems I went on the sick then left my job a few months ago. I didn’t know what to do so I applied for JSA and UC. Doctor put me on sick until November this year and maybe longer. I filled in a UC50 form a couple of months ago but heard nothing since. This week my JSA payment was £121 instead of £154. Wondering why? My DLA was stamped 3rd May so should hear any day now. Do you think this could be why?

Legofigure · 17/07/2022 17:41

@Poppysmum14 no, DLA doesn’t reduce JSA. Although why are you on JSA and not ESA?

Poppysmum14 · 17/07/2022 18:07

@Legofigure didnt know it existed just thought I had to sign on dole. Wasn’t until I told them I had sick note they sent me a UC50 form

Legofigure · 17/07/2022 18:36

What might have happened is you have claimed New Style JSA but submitted a sick note and you can only claim New Style JSA for 13 weeks with a sick note. With a sick note for longer than 13 weeks you would need to claim New Style ESA instead.

The UC50 might have been sent in relation to the UC claim.

Poppysmum14 · 17/07/2022 18:46

Do you think I will get more on my UC? Sorry about this I’m clueless with it all

Legofigure · 17/07/2022 18:57

New Style JSA is deducted £ for £ from UC, so it is likely UC will be more as less will be taken off. If it is accepted you have a LCWRA you will get more too.

You should apply for New Style ESA.

Poppysmum14 · 17/07/2022 19:28

I tried applying for esa but they kept asking for my P45 and my previous employer won’t send it me.they are Ignoring all my calls and emails.

Kirstiiee · 17/07/2022 20:23

Scan date 22nd April and still not heard anything 🥺.
th man on the phone flagged it at beginning of the week, I phoned again Friday and she said oh I see it’s been flagged hopefully you should hear soon. Even she couldn’t understand why it hasn’t been looked at yet, had no notes on it or anything. Starting to worry.

Nicole220825 · 17/07/2022 21:13

has anyone been awarded from 4th May yet?

Bournecrazy · 17/07/2022 23:05

No I'm the 10th and not many from May I've seen awarded yet.

kinzzzz · 18/07/2022 06:20

Have you heard anything yet?

Amberb83 · 18/07/2022 07:38

Advice please....Does anyone know... do tax credits backdate payment to the scan date of dla? Or from date dla contacts to say child qualifies?
