Scan date 12 April, with a DM, no sign of a decision yet.

Just seen that someone from the 12th of may has been awarded x

My daughter won’t sleep in her bed she sleeps in mine 😩
I just want to treat Poppy to loads of days out this summer without worrying about costs xx

@Kc1999x yep I saw that today and commented on it 😩 now I feel like it's a no even though I had the SENCo wrote the part on the dla form, sent asd diagnosis letter and letter from Ed phyc too

Preparing myself for the worst incase my youngest is declined. Won’t be able to get school help with an appeal as it’s summer hols so they are seeing what’s on little ones file to see if anything else I haven’t sent can be used. Since sending the forms We have applied for an ehcp. Do you think the ehcp application we sent off would help in an appeal?

@Crazybrood we sent his ehcp off with his and everything they summited for it. Then he was awarded it. I also sent the ehcp once's it was issued. So I would send whatever you had as I really believe that is what helped with my mandatory reconsideration

@Crazybrood weve applied for an EHCP too and it was mentioned in the application. Hoping that'll come through by the start of term

You must be in the same area as me s weve been on summer holidays nearly a week now and yes. If they need to get hold of school there is someone there but not everyone

Thanks everyone. We only break up next Wednesday but I’m trying to get prepared now just incase. I’m hoping I won’t need any of it. I put no on the forms about an ehcp but both myself and the senco wrote on we are going to apply as soon as we could and last week the application got sent off. Hoping not got much longer to wait lol

Does anyone know if you get a text if you’re rejected?

@Memum22 not every one gets a text at all, I've had nothing just a letter to say we're sorry for the delay

@Memum22 i think it’s just a letter of rejection, and when awarded sometimes a text or just a letter x

How long does back pay take after the award date? I just want to work out roughly when I need to ring if I don’t hear/receive anything 🥲

my Son got awarded on Sunday, received back pay today x

I am caving and calling, so many people with randomly latter dates in May and June are being awarded....its so random! Lets see how long I am on hold.........

@KJB88 do let us know what they say, I’m May 7th but seen people with later dates who have heard back.

We have not heard yet , we are 6th May scan date.

They said that it wouldnt be for a couple of weeks! :(

Still no decision, its been with the decision maker for a week now. Getting overly fed up.

im 22nd April scan date as well and mine still hasn’t been looked at, been with a DM for over a week. I’m getting fed up as well, and really worried he won’t be awarded and I’ll have to fight. Xx
