Hey all, has anyone had any update from MR after COC? It will be a week tomorrow since I last rang so will ring up again tomorrow but if anyone hears anything today please update. Fingers crossed for everyone awaiting decisions. Never stop fighting for what our children deserve.

Hi everyone,

I've been following this thread so I thought I would create an account to post.
My scan date for My youngest is 31/5 and I called today and was told they are working on April 28th currently. He told me it will be at least another 3 weeks for us.
I'm so fed up with this process!

Amberb83 · 11/07/2022 17:14

@Leyw87 thank you for the update... wondering if my daughters app has been assessed over wknd then..we are 27th... really hope not much longer...

Kc1999x · 11/07/2022 17:38

I thought so too, the man on the phone was lovely told me all I need to know so we have a 3 year award which I was so shocked about, don’t think I could do all that process again😂 and Honestly I believe it depends who’s desk it lands on, some people from may have already been awarded and some people from march still haven’t been awarded🤷🏽‍♀️

Memum22 · 11/07/2022 18:03

@Amberb83 i have the same scan date and rung today 🙈 he said that it was in the case managers file. Does anyone know if that means it’s with the decision maker or? 🥲 he said there is alot to do in this weeks lot

Roseypossey · 11/07/2022 21:42

My daughters scan dates 28th I called today and they said another 2 weeks 🥹

Kc1999x · 11/07/2022 21:50

It probably won’t be 2 weeks, a lot of people on Facebook have said that they’ve all been told that they’re working up to the 27th of April, so probably be a bit sooner than you think, good luck x

Memum22 · 11/07/2022 21:51

@Roseypossey honestly I feel like the info they give out on wait time/dates their on always varies so much! They tell people all different. I just don’t think they wants to say oh I could be this week because come Friday everyone will ring again!

Kirstiiee · 11/07/2022 23:02

22nd April and still with a DM has been since last week xx

Mum2Two91 · 12/07/2022 00:06

EllaP85 · 12/07/2022 11:44

Hi all, got my scan date 1st July so I’ll be waiting a while..!!

I’m fretting a bit about evidence my daughter is suspected ADHD/ASD but not diagnosed yet… I sent a psychologist report (confirming high levels of anxiety, details her issues and says indicators of adhd/asd and requires full assessment), my forms sent to CAHMS via school and also a copy of what school sent to CAHMS also (basically all the questionnaires).

I filled out the form in as much detail as I could but I am worrying I should have sent a diary too? Should I send one in as additional evidence or may this be enough?

FightingForMyBoy · 12/07/2022 11:56

@EllaP85 hi I sent a diary of standard 24 hr care as I found it easier than the forms to document everything in there, I sent it just over a week ago and asked it to be added to my claim, my thoughts are that it can’t do any harm and surely it shows evidence of care needs

Roseypossey · 12/07/2022 12:02

I’ve seen a lot of posts on Facebook now for the 26th of April so feeling hopeful xx

Kc1999x · 12/07/2022 12:03

dla Doesn’t go off of diagnosis, it goes off the extra care needs that your child has compared to a child of the same age. I sent absolutely nothing, just contact details for nursery and gp and my son has just been awarded he’s only 2, as long as you’ve showed your child has extra care needs you can’t really go wrong, good luck to you all x

Kc1999x · 12/07/2022 12:04

@Roseypossey i was 26th april, got awarded on Sunday if that’s any help x

That’s what I was thinking, just a bit more examples of a day to day etc rather then just the box questions! Thanks I think I might do the same- extra info can’t have a negative effect I guess?

Roseypossey · 12/07/2022 12:41

Thank you it does! With the holidays coming up I jus really wana know a decision so I can plan stuff her x

kinzzzz · 12/07/2022 13:02
