Carrying on the waiting right here!

@Kc1999x Literally a day or two from the dates the man gave me on the phone. I only sent it on 1st July.

Kc1999x · 09/07/2022 19:51

Oh that’s good, I just sent extra evidence off but was worried it would take ages to get there and scanned on to the system🤦🏽‍♀️ My scan date is the 26th so they should be getting close to making a decision and want them to take the extra bits into account. Didn’t think this process would be so stressful😂

Lilbunnyfufu · 10/07/2022 00:42

Sent DS renewal in March for his claim that was due to end on June 30th
Yesterday we received the new award letter he's been awarded low mobility and high rate care until June 2029

Kc1999x · 10/07/2022 09:28

Seen on Facebook group people from the scan date 26th being awarded, so must be coming to the end of April/beginning of may🤞🏽

Shannon26 · 10/07/2022 12:58

Anyone around 10th May heard anything back for their renewals? X

Kc1999x · 10/07/2022 15:24

Just received the text to say my son qualifies🎉🎉 gutted its Sunday as I don’t know rates😭

22nd April scan date and still waiting. I know it’s with a DM. Xx

Kc1999x · 10/07/2022 16:42

hopefully you hear soon, I seen on Facebook some people from beginning of may have been rewarded already🤦🏽‍♀️ Suppose it depends which decision makes desk it falls on x

mumof3plusbean · 10/07/2022 16:45

I am 22nd scan date too, I have been reading this thread - seems like so many people have been awarded with a later scan date, its hard not to feel frustrated.
I managed to hold off calling, but I called on friday and both applications ( I didn't know I could try and claim for them) are with decision makers.
I really was hoping for a text this weekend :-(

Kc1999x · 10/07/2022 17:09

I seen a lot of people having there’s with a decision maker for ages and then they find out that the decision maker is actually off for god knows how many weeks🤦🏽‍♀️

Kc1999x · 10/07/2022 18:03

Sorry to be a pain, how long after the text does it take to receive award letter?

Spacemonkey2016 · 10/07/2022 18:50

I didn't get a text when my son was awarded, but letter arrived about a week after the back pay was in my account.

Mummy2boys1520 · 10/07/2022 18:51

@Kc1999x I got awarded Saturday and the letter arrived on the Friday after so just under a week

Kc1999x · 10/07/2022 19:06

Ooo okay thank you! Gonna give them a call in the morning anyways x

kinzzzz · 11/07/2022 10:05

Still waiting here 😴😴

Memum22 · 11/07/2022 10:37

@kinzzzz me too but seem to be getting close. My scan date is 27th, when’s yours?

Kc1999x · 11/07/2022 10:45

Yours should be any day now, my scan date was the 26th April, got decision yesterday!

kinzzzz · 11/07/2022 11:02

Mines a redecision original scan date was march 4th redecision was 14th june 😑

Memum22 · 11/07/2022 11:02

@Kc1999x im so nervous about it as my little one is only 2, worried I’m going to be told all 2 year olds take a lot of care

Kc1999x · 11/07/2022 11:11

My little boy is 2, I didn’t send any additional evidence at all, just contact numbers for those involved in his care and he just been awarded MRC until 2025

Memum22 · 11/07/2022 11:20

@Kc1999x that’s really reassuring. I sent off his report with his diagnosis of Autism, global development delay, non verbal and pica. Hopefully all goes well!

Kc1999x · 11/07/2022 11:23

my son has GDD, and awaiting autism assessment, non verbal, also has pica, all of this is down at nursery and on his medical record. So I reckon you’ll be fine as I’m assuming they did a bit of running around for evidence for mine! Good luck🤞🏽🤞🏽

Spacemonkey2016 · 11/07/2022 11:55

@Kc1999x Ah that's reassuring to read, my little girl is 2 too and I keep reading how 2 year olds mostly get declined. Her issues are completely different to your sons, but her care needs are so much higher than an average 2 year old, so I'm hoping we also get awarded.

Kc1999x · 11/07/2022 12:08

Yes I heard this aswell and I was getting ready for an MR tbh😂 My sons are definitely much more than the average 2 year old! I just made sure I made it clear in the forms! So every part I explained how it’s more than an average child the same age x

Memum22 · 11/07/2022 12:41

@Kc1999x if you don’t mind me asking, what rate was you awarded?
