I’ve just called and mine was given to a decision maker yesterday and he said it could be anytime now depending on if they need more evidence or not. So stressful! X

Ltb17 · 08/06/2022 09:14

@Ltb17 thats great news! I’m still waiting and scan date was 22nd March, so I’m just in phone to them. My anxiety is through the roof right now 😩I’m glad you had good news 😊

Sodie · 08/06/2022 09:56

Just phoned, mine was given to a decision maker today.

Hello, I've been watching this thread since I first applied for dla for my little boy.
Our scan date was the 8th of April, I called last week, just before 8 weeks, and they told me it had been with the decision maker since Monday.
I took my little boy to preschool this Monday and the senco said they called her last Tuesday and had a lovely conversation with her and took so much time trying to understand my sons needs at preschool.
Anyway I called again today and they said a decision has been made and now it has been sent to be finalised? Does anyone know how long this takes? And is it a good thing?

Sorry for the long post, just so new to this! We didn't even know we could apply for dla until my sons preschool told us too!

Congratulations @Ltb17 hrc lrm is what we are hoping for too!

I'm impressed at the speed you got the form done, so you called, received it, filled it all in and got it back to them within a month that's amazing i workes out it took me about 100 hours to do our COC but at the time I had a toddler at home full time so only had evening to do it and my Sen child barely sleeps so it was a long slog.

Hopefully we get our results soon too!

CbennB · 08/06/2022 10:36

I just got off the phone. My little one has been awarded HRC and LRM. The waiting is over finally! Thanks to everyone on this thread as you’ve helped me stay less stressed over the wait. I hope you all hear soon and it’s good news for your little ones 😊

Sodie · 08/06/2022 11:25

How long have you all waited for a decision after going to decision maker?

Ltb17 · 08/06/2022 11:31

@CbennB thank you, I'll keep my fingers crossed for you

@Decafflatteplease i had already written most of it out in draft before I had the form, I had my other child's claim form copied so I knew the questions to answer which helped and then I called for forms once I had everything I wanted written down, I think that helped me work through the form quicker, I done my part in a day the rest of the time I was waiting for his senco teacher to fill it in. I hope you get the result you're after soon

@Ltb17 this wait is so stressful. I keep thinking we aren't going to get it xxx

CbennB · 08/06/2022 11:37

@Sodie as far as I know, mine had been with the decision maker for over a week. It could’ve been longer but I called last week and was told it was with DM, then I called today and the claim has been awarded.

Mumabear239 · 08/06/2022 12:08

Still waiting @Mumabear239 . 15 weeks now. Was told to expect 15-18 weeks. Desperate to ring but trying to stop myself! Checking the bank every morning!

Mumabear239 · 08/06/2022 12:32

I can’t believe it’s that long am only on 9 weeks for coc can’t handle the wait 😊

Mumabear239 · 08/06/2022 12:33

I did call other day and they were working on the 7th feb apparently.

StormySam · 08/06/2022 13:29

My scan date was 9 March and I phoned today and my ASD child (on waiting list for assessment) has been awarded MRC and LRM. Am so relieved.

Tourettesmuma · 08/06/2022 14:09

I'm so pleased for those who've had decisions 😁
I've just finished the renewal!
Currently waiting to get through to see if the coc is with a DM yet 🤞
@Indr I can't believe yours has been with a DM for 10 days, that's ridiculous, did they say what they are waiting for? The whole process is so emotionally draining!

Ltb17 · 08/06/2022 14:17

@Nicky80catri can't believe you've not heard still

Nicky80catri · 08/06/2022 14:18

@Ltb17 it's getting ridiculous now XXX

Tourettesmuma · 08/06/2022 14:27

They said my coc is with a case manager now, I'm so nervous! My scan date was 7th Feb.

Indr · 08/06/2022 15:06

@Tourettesmuma no not sed anything I asked if waiting for anything etc and sed no nothing or any notes on the system she used the example of DM being assigned 50 to do and I could be number 50 just a slow DM I think

Pmp1315 · 08/06/2022 15:19

Hi everyone,

has anyone recently been through a MR? And could let me know how long it took from sending it all back?

thanks in advance

Nicky80catri · 08/06/2022 15:21

Had a text saying a decision has been made. Doesn't say whether or not we were successful. Has anyone else had a text like this ... Help

Ltb17 · 08/06/2022 15:22

@Nicky80catri no, usually it says we've decided to award you. Call them! That would drive me mad!!
