@Tourettesmuma, most of my answers were done in Word, an answer per page, using bullet points. I'd never have fitted it all onto the booklet they sent.

got through after about 30 mins but no decision yet 😩 he said any day now. Stress is driving me mad waiting x

i wonder what is going on with my DM! My scan date is 22nd March and still nothing!!! It’s very frustrating!

Iv just rang for update I got through my fear and rang, they told me they up to the 29th march claims, my sons was scanned 13th April so been told could be couple more weeks yet before I hear anything.

@sulli19 this is why i'm trying to forget about mine - It's got a scan date of May 10th! there's no point ringing them as i'm following the dates on here.

still nothing for me and scan date 15th March been with DM for over 2 weeks now! Will ring again tomorrow morning as 12 weeks today

How long did back pay take to reach your account?

I've received quite a substantial backdate in my account ready for tomorrow so looks like my sons been awarded scan date 23rd march no text or anything

@Ltb17 that's brilliant news.

I did a bad thing - I googled things...and seen a fair few declines on renewal so now I'm even more on edge.
My OH seems to be getting impatient too and stuff like this never usually bothers him.
I am resisting the urge to ring again, going to wait until the 20th (probably will end up ringing next week).
100% won't be sending the forms so early on the next renewal, it's been horrible since the moment I posted the form.

Times to make sure I wasn't imagining it. Not sure on rates so will call in the morning so I can update uc. I was all ready to do a mr as thought he had been declined. Gathered some evidence (didn't send any with claim) so I'm still in shock I think. Good luck to everyone still waiting

Can you make a vague guess by dividing the amount by the number of weeks you've been waiting (not entirely scientific due to the rise in April)? I'd be so impatient to phone in your shoes!

I recently changed bank, so can see upcoming payments in too. I'm checking it obsessively! 🙈

@NoWordForFluffy my scan date was 23rd march, I think you have 6 weeks to send form back after calling for them and I sent it back in the final week so I believe I phoned mid February. I think I worked it out to be hrc lrm but I'd be very surprised if that's the case. And I'm not great at maths lol
I can't actually see pending payments but with my bank my payments clear at 9pm the night before. I'd been checking every night just on the off chance. It's a massive help because there is so many things he really needs. I hope everyone else gets answers soon

@Ltb17 ohhhh thats great news!! Such a relief for sure! My scan date was the same as yours so I'm going to call back again Friday and see if it's been given to the DM yet, the lady said on Monday she would get it given to a dm as urgent but not sure how long that takes :(

@Hopeful110 fingers crossed for you. I only called them once, last Wednesday and was told it was in over time pile. I really though it was a no for us, when I don't my other child's claim I received a text to say he was awarded, I think it made it worse for this claim because I was kind of expecting to get a text too. I even sat yesterday gathering some evidence and had a meeting with the school in preparation for an mr. I still don't really believe it to be honest, I'll call them this morning but until I see the letter I think it won't feel real.

I've had my ds backpay this morning. No letter or email to say we had been successful. I'm so relieved I was sure I hadn't given enough detail in the form and we'd be refused. Has lifted my mood massively. Good luck to all still waiting x

Everyone who was scanned the week before mine seems to be getting decisions now. I'm 31st March so hoping mine will be in the next week or 2 with a bit of luck.
Haven't rang yet just gonna wait another week.
Happy for everyone who's had their decisions it's such a long stressful wait xx
