Anyone waiting for a decision for march guys .. I am so stressed about the outcome it would mean a great deal to my DD to get this award.

Hopefully they will hurry up if its a backlog surly they would be rushing them through

Oh no that’s really sad :( I hope she feels better really soon, I will call tomorrow and see what dates they are working at and post back here x

Good morning ladies I’ve just got off the phone to DLA and was told I should hear any day now and if I don’t hear to call back , was told to expect a letter not a txt or call tho 😳😳fingers crossed 🤞 I hear soon it’s so frustrating, Thankyou for all your kind words of support 😊

1977 I'd keep checking bank daily most people that get accepted just recieve a letter but money goes in to account before letter

Hi all, haven't posted before but stumbled across this post a few nights ago when looking up waiting times. My sons application was scanned 16th March, I sent it by email and on 7th April I emailed to ask if they had received it OK. I got a reply on 8th April saying it had been received and was with the dm. In May I got the letter were sorry its taking so long etc, I found this thread recently and have been following. Yesterday I rang them. They said they'd sent a request for information from my gp and they had 4 weeks to reply. I then rang gp who said they had received it and it was conpleted and returned at the end of last week. I'm just concerned now as they've requested info from gp, however due to the pandemic our gp hasn't seen my son in person in almost 3 years. He's 6 and a half now and all our conversations about him have been over the phone. If our gp hasn't seen him in person in almost 3 years I'm so worried it's going to lead to my son being declined, as its really all just on my word. Good luck to all waiting a decision I hope the wait is over soon and you and your child gets the help yous deserve

Hey princess peach my sin hasn't been seen by go in years but had been see by pediatrics ect they wint just ask dr they will ask school anyone less involved in your child's life.I would try not to worry and just see what they say

All I sent with my sons was 2 reports from pediatrics one saying he has enough symptoms to digitise autism and one saying he has hypermo unity global development delay and is in melatonin

Diagnose autism and hypermobility i mean lol

Yes it is especially when I’ve sent a lot of information in and it’s been with DM for over 2 weeks , my fingers are crossed Leanne for you let us know how you get on

Take it no one has herd? It's almost the 6 week hols I'm limited as to were I can take my son he's 1 off 11 but believe it or not doesn't like over crowded places everywhere activity wise is packed during the hols if awarded the money would help to book certain activities with limited spaces

I just called mine is with DM and was told decision will be made by Sunday as they wirk all weekend now but got told call tomorrow and should be done by then if not Sunday 🤞

They are in dates 13th April now next week they will get mew dates so they like to finish the dates they have by end of week so next week be 14th to 19th she told me

Hi, my son has never been seen by the gp regarding his condition but my son has a diagnoses and this was done through the paediatric dr. I have never seen the point of seeing my gp as my sons condition is very complex and specific mainly it’s how we cope at home with him. So I wouldn’t worry about that all. I did however put the gps details down as requested as they are probably the easiest to get hold of, and share information so something about my sons condition will be on the system for them to confirm to DM. Hope you hear soon! X

Thanks Leanne that’s very helpful, mine was scanned on the 19th April. 10 weeks now and I thought that was a long time but people have been waiting longer. Fingers crossed guys x
