Hi everyone,
Anyone waiting for a decision for march guys .. I am so stressed about the outcome it would mean a great deal to my DD to get this award.

I wonder if covid has anything to do with it ?

There will be a natural backlog from covid and children were being seen or socialising therefore things may be becoming more apparent if that makes any sense ?

Has anyone applied for a child under 3? I'm wondering if the wait time is longer due to it being harder to assess. My LG has just turned one and her form was scanned on the 11th of June heard nothing yet getting desperate to know as struggling to afford the time off work for all her hospital appointments and therapy

Daughters app was scanned 20th June 2022
Have been ringing religiously for over a week, only to be told it hasnt been looked at yet.

Only today did the lady say maybe the end of this week or next and to look out for a text or possible payment. When I asked her what do you mean she just said that we are sending out texts and making payments for claims right now in the 18th/19th June!

Can someone kindly explain what a case manager does? Apparently my daughters claim is with them x

They are the ones who make the decisions so hopefully you should get an answer soon 😊

I thought it went from case managers to the decision makers? 🤔

The Case Manager gathers information and other medical evidence if necessary. They put it all together and present it to the Decision Maker who decides whether to award or not.

We were scanned 28 July so sounds like could be another month if they are only up to end June!

My scan date was 15th July and we got money in bank on the Tuesday I was shocked that is was done so soon I was expecting another month so I could be sooner than u think x

The saying for my daughter to beable to claim the need to request her national insurance number said I need to give them
to the end of the month? Had this happened to anybody else before

Scan date was the 23rd June and got a call yesterday that they've awarded his decision. Fingers crossed everyone else will be soon!

Hello all you lovely people, I have been reading through this thread as I’m also in the same boat as a lot of you, I sent my dd forms off 14th July and they got scanned the 19th, we are still waiting to hear anything, I phoned 2 weeks ago and got told not to call back until the 19th oct if I haven’t heard anything, my ds has the same condition as his sister and when I applied for him it took 8 weeks! Has anyone heard anything from around the same time as us? 😖 xx

I was told last week that they would be looking at the week beginning 18th this week... but all seems random and not accurate 🤔

I've still not heard a bean from them, I got told weeks ago to phone back on the 19th October if not heard anything 😬

I have called this morning scan date 18/7/22 on week 13 and told another 2 weeks

our scan date was the 18th so 13 weeks today , just think they give people all different information
