Dla waiting times march 2022

Hi everyone,
Anyone waiting for a decision for march guys .. I am so stressed about the outcome it would mean a great deal to my DD to get this award.

So annoying they tell people different things isn’t it. My friend has just rang now and they told her their currently on 17th June apps. But the rude woman I just spoke to said she had no way of knowing 🙄 x

She told me upto 19th this week that includes weekend. My decision was made on a Saturday x

I've just rang and she said ours was received 14th June and its only just gone qith a decision maker and will receive a text message if we are rewarded anything completely different to what I was told before then some people had clamins after ours and got rewarded confused

She said to me today it’s who picks them up so I think each CM takes so many to go through then they pass to DM, just depends who it gets landed with xx

Got a text yesterday my son qualifies! He’s gettting MRC and LM! I honestly thought he wasn’t going to get it and even if he did I was so certain it would only be LRC! Over the moon! For people just joining. Scan date was 14th June, backdated to the 31st May when I asked for forms.. decision 12th Sept!

My sons was scanned on the 23rd June, recieved a letter 6 weeks ago to say they haven't made a decision. I really hope it'll be soon. I've waited years for my son to be diagnosed as he slipped through the system. I really hope it's good news. He'll be 9 in March! Doesn't help as he doesn't get any support as he's still on a waiting list for everything :(

Hi. Same scan date as you!! Hoping for good news soon, my son is 5. Has asd and adhd, learning and behaviour issues. Let's wait together ❤️

I am still waiting, yesterday was exactly 12 weeks since the application was scanned, I called DWP yesterday for an update apparently they are only UpTo the 17th June and my application for my son is not even with a decision maker yet- I am looking realistically she said at another 3 weeks ! That would put it at 15 weeks minimum it's ridiculous - the excuse I got was we are really really busy and the company doing the applications are working around the clock to catch up now doing night shifts ! Hope I hear soon

They say that to everyone. But also everyone is different, mine was 12 weeks and 3 days mine took. I rang on the Friday the 9th and was told my form still wasn’t with anyone, then the Monday I rang and they said a decision was made sat the 10th. My scan date was 15th of June. You should have an answer by next Friday I would have thought xx

13 weeks today and still nothing. I'm honestly struggling with his behaviour at the moment and cannot get him to school. Waiting ontop doesn't help the stress levels.

So yesterday I was told it wasn't allocated yet. Today they've said it's marked to be done over the weekend 🙂

Good luck x it’s really dragged out hasn’t it!
annoyingly if he is successful we will have to apply for pip in 5 months…. I think.

I rang up today (our scan date is 18.7) spoke to a lovely lady. She said :

They are currently working on the end of June. Ours should be through in 3 weeks

They receive 30,000 applications per a week!!!

If the call handler hasn't checked their emails it could why people are being told different dates and weeks

Fab thank you for the update. Ours is the 4th of July so fingers crossed maybe end of next week.

wow 30000 a week that’s 1.5 million a year!!!
