Hi everyone,
Anyone waiting for a decision for march guys .. I am so stressed about the outcome it would mean a great deal to my DD to get this award.

@Tinker231 never heard of this happening. Did you get the letter they send out ? I got one to say they received my application and then I got another to say sorry that they still haven’t dealt with my claim both before 8 weeks X

@Lynseyb91 i received the letter stating they had received it and that I would get a decision within in 8 weeks so today with it being 8 weeks and not receiving any other letters I rang and the stated have never received it she’s apparently on the system but no application apparently bizzare how it’s the first time I’ve tried applying and didn’t ask for an application over the phone prior so a just don’t get it 😢 xx

So my advice would be to make copy of this letter and produce them with it as proof. Sounds like they have possibly misplaced it. Tell them you need another form and as this in no fault of yours as you clearly sent the form you want the award to be from the original date (if awarded). Then send it tracked when you re send X

Thankyou @Lynseyb91 i have found The letter the sent saying they had received it so al ring again Monday and see what the say when giving the reference number if not I will do what you said and also send this scan date letter for proof x

My scan date was 14th June, when I called last week they said I should know by next week.. Anyone with similar scan dates got any updates?

Hiya @CheriseC22 my scan date was 15th of June I rang Thursday and was told that they were working on the 9th of June and that mine should be dealt with by end of next week 🤞🏼I’m gonna ring again Wednesday so il update you. X

Hi everyone, I’ve called this morning, they confirmed my claim was scanned on 14th June, I am still in a holding queue they are working on the claims dated 6th June which I know is different to what other people have been told. Still not with the decision maker she said there’s no realistic timescale other than hopefully not too much longer, she apologised she couldn’t give me anymore info. Just thought I’d update x

Wonder why people get told different things? Unless each person gets so many cases and we are updated on that? So say mine is with someone who was working on the 9th of June last Thursday maybe? Going to ring shortly x

I rang this morning the definitely have my daughters claim but stated the are only now just working from 9th june.. hopefully not long and some good news will be received by Yous all x

I haven’t called yet but I was considering it but it’s my kids first day back at a new school so wanting to keep my phone available should the school call me. Have you called at all?

Going to call shortly just getting some charge. My phone shows if someone else tries to ring why I’m on a call so I could just end it if school was to call x

So I just braved it and tried to call however after a few minutes it was some automated message asking for my bank details etc? It’s the exact same number I’ve been calling allll along but it wasn’t asking me all weird stuff which it’s never done before? Going to wait awhile and try again. Xx

Hiya I’ve just got off the phone lady was lovely I spoke to she said sorry it’s taking to long. We do advise 12 weeks which mine is she said mine should be looked at by Friday she can’t promise but they are working with claims up until the 16th of June this week. X

yes should have at least looked at them she said ones with Someone u get a decision within 1/2 days. I told them il ring back Friday xx

This is all so confusing because everyone is being told all different Info.. I spoke to a lady and she said at the minute claims are taking atleast 13 weeks until they’re going to case manager and mine is still in the queue and someone should view it within the next 2 weeks 😩

thw thing is my son hasn’t been diagnosed with ADHD or Autism yet but he’s been accepted on the waiting list to be assessed and he’s also under occupational therapy and I don’t have a lot of evidence that I sent
off because my sons previous school was useless in helping. So the only evidence I had was the achool report that they sent off to Edwin Lobo when they referred him, and the letter saying he was accepted onto the waiting list and then a letter confirming his appointment for OT. He’s since then had an appt with OT but it was over the phone as the lady broke her foot but she suspects he has hyper mobility … but all of this isn’t ‘confirmed’ yet so I’m doubtful I will get awarded it for my son, but I’d hate to wait all this time and it be rejected. Because then the fight for them to reassess it will start. But I can’t do anything until I know more. Xx

My niece got it and only sent one letter from cahms to say she was getting assessed. My son is not diagnosed either but he’s had a ECHP since he was 7 (now 14). I sent that and a copy of his neurodevelopment referral. It’s weird how we are being told different. Il update Friday when I ring again x

I definitely think that all CM get so many to go through. This would explain why we are told different days etc. xx

my scan day was 14th June. My friend has said she’s known for some peoples whose scan date was the 9th June and they’ve had a payment before being told they were awarded it. But I know I am not that lucky.
