Dla waiting times march 2022

Hi everyone,
Anyone waiting for a decision for march guys .. I am so stressed about the outcome it would mean a great deal to my DD to get this award.

Been 5 weeks since I put in for mandatory reconsideration havnt herd anything back

I've changed everything over with the uc and was told it will be referred to a decision maker to see if it can be backdated

Received a letter this morning about mandatory reconsideration my son now has high rate care instead off middle which they awarded him I'm not sure if I get backdated the difference from when I made the original claim or just from when I put in for them to look at the claim again but I'm glad for him

How long did everyone wait for carers allowance backdate please xx

I havnt applied for carers allowance I've herd about it isn't it deducted from your money?

If you are on UC Hun yeah but not from the DLA xx

So universal credits have decided to back date my claim from the 22nd April but there was no info regarding payments or anything .

Most people on hear get uc I assume but anyone on tax credits? Is they a reason why they only backdate a month from when you ring and tell them your receiving dla even if it's took months

I’ve been waiting 14 weeks now just called and she said there’s currently a 17 week wait 😞

Is that for DLA?

Forms received and scanned in June 14th, was originally told 9 weeks. then 11.5 weeks (but expected a lot longer)

My scan date was 24th may got a decision Monday. Rang tax credits and they back date from the day I rang for form the 29th April. And payment due Friday. Hope that helps

Ahhh okay that does add up, we called this morning to check and they said they're up to the 29th May so should be another 2 weeks or so.

Has anyone had back payments from universal credits . Mine went to a decision maker and was accepted on special circumstances and backdated from 22nd April but I've received no back payments . This was done and accepted on 23rd August x

@Lynseyb91 nothing yet unfortunately :( I think should be another week and a bit if the person we spoke to was correct with timings

I wonder if each CM gets so many on their desk as in one the other chats a few from ending of May had rang up and had a decision. Mine scan wasn’t until the 15th June, they told me last week it’s taking upto 14 weeks I’m gonna ring again later to see what updates they have x

Possibly, last time I called it was 12.5 weeks but I'm not holding out much hope for it being that date. I'm 11 weeks and a day currently

I would be interested to know what date they're working to currently if you do call :)

What was your scan date? Mines 11 weeks exactly today but mine is June and not may surely yours is more? Or are you not including weekend x

I've called today and they have told me that they are working with 9th of June now and that I should have a decision next week, they said if accepted probs see money before the letter a lot are due to post issues. He also said I’m not down for texts so I’m going to just ring in a weeks time. X

Well after 8 weeks I’ve rang for an update and the trying to say the don’t hold an application for my daughter despite myself receiving a letter stating it had been scanned the 8th July.. so stressed anybody else had this? If so any advice would be appreciated x
