Does somebody know the difference between a case manager and a decision maker?

Not been assigned one yet but just wondered.

Ssabb90 you need to keep putting messages in journal that’s what I did mine took 2 weeks to sort

I’ve still not heard anything from uc except they can’t give me a time frame lol. I made a complaint as I’ve seen people weeks after me get it sorted straight away. No need for it to be this long lol

Kc1999x I would complain mine took 2 weeks to sort I just kept writing in my journal and then I got told , I hope you hear something soon x

How did you make a complaint, I let them know on the 6th of July. They did not send to a Dm till the 13th. So it’s been ages x

I think it’s through the gov website. Make a complaint about universal credit online….
and I literally keep messaging in my journal and keep getting told the same thing🤦🏽‍♀️

We did ours around same time as well 🥴 so I just don’t know what’s taking them so long, thanks kc x

Hi I have claimed for my daughter it was scanned on 15th June are the waiting times speeding up or the same?

So after my last complaint to dwp about my UC backpay, they decided today they would grant it and issued it as faster payment today and already have to money in my account🎉

no Reason for them to take so long is there😂 but yes can finish off my boys sensory room and take him away for the holidays now x

I’m still waiting on a decision from the backdate for universal credit…

They just keep saying this

So when you change your circumstances do it from the date you was awarded dla. Then your assessment periods that time they’ll add it on to them pays and backdate. So you’ll now be entitled to 414 disabled child element and also 168 carers, x

Make sure you message in the journal you want it backdated to the start of the dla award x

Then just keep on top of them, I seen someone on Facebook that had to wait over 6 months for back pay from UC🤦🏽‍♀️

I made 3 complaints and they issued same day payment after the 3rd one

Keep on at them in the journal, that’s what I did and after two weeks I told them I wanted an answer and within half an hour I was told and my money went in 2 days later so keep on at them

sorry to jump on, this is what I received when I asked how long it takes to receive from backdate from uc. Anyone had this response and how long after did people wait?
