Dla waiting times march 2022

Hi everyone,
Anyone waiting for a decision for march guys .. I am so stressed about the outcome it would mean a great deal to my DD to get this award.

I’m still waiting for a response mine was scanned on the 20th of may been waiting 9 weeks I got a letter last week saying sorry for taking so long how kind did you girls get a response after this letter?

Hiii yes I got the same letter but didn’t get paid till 3 weeks later. I did not receive an award letter or text just money in the bank and then everything came after. Hope that helps xx

UC got back to me and said it’s still with the decision maker🙄

Can someone help me make sense of Uc, I just sent a message to my journal asking what dates they made my referral to decision maker. They replied with two dates, one for a backdate on carers element and one for a back date of disabled child element 😳 i thought it was just one thing? Also I reported it to them on the 6th July and the referral was made on the 13th July.

I’m on week 12 today. From when my dla form was scanned, but they received on 30th April..
anyone had update around this time?

I called up it’s with a dm since Tuesday just gone.
nerve wrCking my son really could do with this…
I no people get payments before hand I’ve not had one can they pay Fridays or what days does it go in if I was to get it

@Ssabb90 because they’re two different elements they might have been referred to a dm at different times🤷🏽‍♀️ Because I know a few people receive like 2 letters when they’ve made a decision, but I’m not sure x

So with mine I had a text on the Sunday, payment on the Wednesday and letter on Thursday. Some people don’t get texts so if you don’t receive one and you’ve been awarded you’ll have the money in mon-fri then a receive a letter if that’s any help x

Oh thank you! Yeah not had a text letter or payment. It’s just so like grr when you don’t no what’s going on. Xx

The letter will be last to come, you usually receive payment before getting a letter. Fingers crossed for you🤞🏽It’s such a long process isn’t it x

Dose anyone know the average rate for asd?

There isn’t an average rate for anything, dla goes on care needs x

Once you are awarded it , it takes between 3/5 working days to go into your bank, I was awarded on the Wednesday and had payment the following Tuesday x

I wouldn’t assume anything tbh some DMs work fast, some a little slower, just keep ringing🤷🏽‍♀️ 9 in the morning is the best time to get through x

I haven’t been awarded yet still waiting but with a dm since Tuesday x

Like kc 1999 said phone everyday as they will tell you different things all the time , mine took 15 weeks till I got a decision, good luck 🤞

Do they log that you call all the time though? X

I just called and my son has been awarded I could cry!
so what do I tell my uc?

Just put a note in journal that your son has been awarded DLA and the date it was awarded and that you want it back dated to when your DLA was scanned put dates in , they will check it , that’s what I did mine took 2 weeks and had back pay put in my bank today , so happy for you x

oaky I did that and updated he’s now claiming, what do they backdate as I’m so confused? Someone said they overpay you and you have to pay it back? X

I revived a letter today at 8 weeks saying sorry we not made a decision yet but we will how long after this do people get a decision scan date 30th may

I got that letter and then had a decision 3 weeks later x

Als2017 when you let UC know your son is now receiving DLA your monthly payment will change and if you let them know when your DLA was scanned they will back date your pay , and it’s not an overpayment it’s then an underpayment they owe you , I hope that makes since x
