Dla waiting times march 2022

Hi everyone,
Anyone waiting for a decision for march guys .. I am so stressed about the outcome it would mean a great deal to my DD to get this award.

So I called them they said I have another 2-3 weeks to wait x

Hiya sorry to jump on here I got my scanned on the 27th of April and still nothing has been made I think they make up the waiting times to be honest x

sent and received 26th April got a letter dated 3rd may saying they had received it 8 weeks later had another letter saying sorry they hadn’t dealt with it yet now 12 weeks on tomorrow and still nothing.

I don’t think they know what they talking about someone on here said there’s got scanned the 28th of April and been awarded so not sure 🤔

Chelbeloue I was the same about making a phone call but I plucked up the courage and did it. Honestly u will be fine x

I haven’t, UC said they’ve sent it to decision maker but haven’t heard anything else since. I did message in my journal for an update but nothing replied back

Same I’m getting replies from the a week later, they aren’t usually that slow replying back so must be mayhem. I’ll message tomorrow and ask for an update. Let me know if you hear anything xx

Morning ladies I’ve not heard anything yet from UC they put a response in my journal last week saying when a decision is made they will let me know in journal x

i seen someone has been waiting since February for their back pay😳 I’m just going to keep at them because if it was us that owed them they’d sort it straight away

Yes they would want it thing is tax credits would just get it sorted why have you got to wait for universal credit to make a choice if you can have it or not it’s technically your money

So if my son is awarded do I tell universal credit he’s now getting dla? How comes they backdate do we get extra help with that?

So when your child is awarded dla you can claim on uc disabled child element which is 132- LRC&MRC, and 414-HRC. You can also receive carers element at 168 if your receive MRC&HRC. Then you can ask for it to be backdated to the date your child was awarded because you was unable to report it on time because you was waiting on a response from DLA. If that’s any help🤷🏽‍♀️ I don’t know the exact amount to the penny either but that’s roughly right😂

Also UC have added the elements on for my next statement, but no response on my back pay x

One of the conditions of UC is reporting changes straight away, as majority of people claiming dla haven’t done this for obvious reasons the decision maker has to sign it off under “special circumstances” they just take there own sweet time doing it😂

I’ve just messaged UC again to see if there’s an update , it’s not fair that we have to wait for the money they are quick enough to take it if owed

This is exactly what I said! I asked for an update yesterday and not heard back, going to message them again in a second, no excuse for taking this long tbh

Hello Jayce my scan date with dla was 30th April and I’m on week 12 still waiting x

@jayce1999 i seen someone say that they’ve spoke to the dwp today and they are working up to claims of scan date 29th, others have said the 4th of may…. However some people with scan date of June/July have already been awarded. I say it depends who’s desk it lands on tbh x

Hi there, i have just got off the phone from them. The person i spoke to was lovely and reassuring, he said they are working on the 4th of may at the min so seems like a few more weeks to go, such a shame that us parents and our babies have to go through this waiting process so draining x
